No. I would call them hardline. Again, they choose the bits they want, only they choose the harshest bits because they want to exert control and this gives them the best opportunity to do so. Messages of compassion and caring don't help suppress dissidents.

Really? Do you think Muslim views on certain issues are similar to Christian views in the uk?

My brain can't comprehend it. Is it just people wanting some sort of ego boost or are they unwell?

People with empty lives desperately trying to fill it by getting behind a cause, I love how people from either side keep calling each other, things like puppets or sheep. Like anyone has an original thought.

As it is NI, you do get some obsessed with Palestine and Hamas, as they see it as something relatable to the IRA and their campaign. Despite some claims that the situation in Iran has not been ignored by the media, until the strikes there has been very little news about it. Quite the opposite to that of the situation in Palestine. The problem is, they hate Israel so much that this group are quite literally telling these Iranians what they think is going on and how they are wrong. They also seem to lack any real understanding of previous regimes in Iran. It is quite staggering, but not completely different to how some come across in these threads at times.

The group involved are called People Before Profit, and sit staunchly behind the refugees welcome movement. Yet in this video you can actually hear one of them telling the Iranians to go back to their own country. You couldn't make it up really.

Genuinely can’t even follow who’s saying what
It's the people who want more refugees telling an Iranian to go back to his own country and that he's making up deaths by the regime. 🤣

I saw something that the sole purpose of people that extreme is just to try and seem like they have stronger morals , more informed and are better than everybody else, no matter what.

As always, it's weird white people at it and they usually end full of the most hate. I'd go as far to say worse than a pissed up, Stella drinking gimp shouting stop the boats on a Saturday.

You see it on here sometimes, people soon reveal their hatred when people disagree politically with them.

Another example

This guy would let his kid die if it was a Jewish doctor 😲🤣

Do you have a special WhatsApp group where you send this stuff to each other or something?

I never see shit like this on my twitter feed, if you've got it randomly coming up you need to train the algorithm! Twitter is much less stressful when you're just getting dog videos and us scoring goals :ROFLMAO:

We have had posters on here showing links to people chanting for the Supreme Leader immediately after his death?

Could be I believe it’s more nuanced than that
Fair enough, and in most cases I would absolutely agree. I guess for me religion (and especially Judeo-Christian ones) is a bit of an 'all or nothing' deal because it basically tells you there is something, somewhere pulling the strings that knows and sees everything, never makes a mistake and can change anything at any time if they so choose to, all based on faith, not evidence. If you don't believe that then you don't believe in the central point of any of the Abrahamic religions and if you don't have faith in some bits of scripture, how can you truly have faith in any of it?

For example, I think you are fundamentally a kind and caring person. If there was some alternate timeline where somehow Christianity/religion had never been invented, I believe you would still be a kind and caring person because that's who you naturally are. You wouldn't suddenly be stealing and killing just because there aren't any laws set down by God telling you not to.

It's OK that you don't understand how the algorithm works.

oh I understand very well how it works - why did you think this was referring to you?

So you'll understand that I posted a link from a journalist and the link above is from a racist conspiracy theorist.

Why do you think I was referring to you?

The White House press secretary says US operations in Iran are aimed at "permanently extinguishing their nuclear ambitions".

Hang on just a minute. Were they lying last year or are they lying now?

“The devastating US strike on Fordo destroyed the site’s critical infrastructure and rendered the enrichment facility inoperable. We assess that the American strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, combined with Israeli strikes on other elements of Iran’s military nuclear program, has set back Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons by many years. The achievement can continue indefinitely if Iran does not get access to nuclear material.”

“I can say here that the assessment is that we significantly damaged the nuclear program, and I can also say that we set it back by years, I repeat, years.”

“Based on everything we have seen — and I’ve seen it all — our bombing campaign obliterated Iran’s ability to create nuclear weapons. Our massive bombs hit exactly the right spot at each target and worked perfectly. The impact of those bombs is buried under a mountain of rubble in Iran; so anyone who says the bombs were not devastating is just trying to undermine the President and the successful mission.”

Let’s be honest it’s impossible to prove why Ali was at the march, only he will know, although he’s made comments in that past to give an indication that he’s not always anti war.

Either way for Ali and Polanski to start shouting Islamophobia as soon as his attendance was brought to light was weird as well as being wholly predictable.

Polanski isnt fit to govern , he is far too comfortable and pally with people who believe in things thay have no place in our society .. like an eco boost jeremy corbyn

Mind you im feeling that way with labour too these days

Im not sure im on the side of starmer here .

Away from that and starmers slow reaction to akriotiri .. this whole thing has also highlighted how woefully underfunded and ill equipped the british military currently is and this needs to be addressed over the coming decade

So I assume people who practice Islam believe it in its purist form?
i have a street full of somali muslims all currently fasting and sending their kids to school in headscalves , but i have the police around our street some weekends arresting the same people because they are pissed up fighting with eachother

Its all nonsense

As always though, say anything not remotely racist or offensive and it's the first thing to throw out there.

You only have to look at his hamas comments and the stuff with the rabbi to see his thoughts.

To say he's just against war is nonsense, just more hypocritical nonsense.

Weird how his only response is "islamaphobic" and how is racist. Get a fucking grip.
