People have been taking coke in pub toilets for years before we had these immigrant issues

This is about a specific case in England, yards from a migrant hotel. It's not a stretch to join the dots, but again, my post is about the police information or lack of it, you are spinning your own narrative around it and assuming interpretations from me that I've not made.

The tired argument of yeah but others commit crime too is not a defence. The fact we have limited resources and lots of our own criminals is not a good reason to import more of them.

Not really spinning just responding to what you and others are saying

It’s just supposition then and ok - the more immigrants the more crime
Girl gang raped migrant hotel down the road must be a migrant

What are the police doing they shouldn’t be or not doing they should?
They should say our line of investigation is that it was a migrant from the hotel?
Is that it?

It is happening on practically a daily basis. You could post articles in these threads most days if you really felt like it, that's how bad it has got. I think part of the problem is also that the general public are being treated like idiots. Look at Southport, Manchester Arena, Nottingham stabbings. Each one could have been prevented if various people had not been worried, or directly accused of, being racist.

It doesn't take a genius to put two and two together and see that certain demographics are massively overrepresented in statistics involving serious crime, particularly rape and sexual assault. Yet, there are some, and you see it on this forum, who say little about these crimes, but go mental when someone points this out, or speculates that the perpetrator may be of a certain background.

It is twisted to me that some, including seemingly the police forces, proudly cannot wait to tell us someone was 'White British', but cowardly say nothing when it isn't. The UK (for the time being, although this is changing) is still majority White British, so of course we should not be surprised if someone from this background commits a crime as this makes up the majority of residents in the country. Pretending not to understand per-capita, backgrounds, or religion has held us back for too long. Frankly, we have got past the point of trying to argue with people that cannot critically think. Actions needs to be taken as this situation is getting worse.

Dont you think locals know though? Same as Tamworth, same as Nuneaton.

People probably want some acknowledgement of the issues of whacking shit loads of unvetted men from a culture way behind ours in the middle of communities.

If they've just arrived and are put up in hotels with free board etc, how on earth do they have money for drugs and going to the pub? Are they receiving a sizeable allowance too? And who is supplying them with coke?

The problem is the sheer scale. You have to put them somewhere and hotels are being used as a last resort. Things are being done but of course everyone wants the problem resolved overnight which isn't realistically going to happen.

We need to start processing claims far, far quicker. But that requires recruiting and training staff and resolving the issue of a huge number of initial decisions being overturned.

Only way you fix this is a working system that is quick and efficient. Get the undesirables rejected and out of the country and those with genuine claims working and integrating into the community. From any angle you come at it having people in hotels for months / years is not the solution.

A complete change in approach. Audit the shit out of organisations such as the Home Office and bring prople in to run them properly. This includes border force. New rules and laws will be needed during this to ensure going forwards there are no leaks and we have a tight border. Genuine refugees should be given the right care and helped to integrate, but ridiculous visas given out (also to unnecessary levels of dependents) need to stop, as do the boats.

Then there needs to be mass deportations.

How do you stop boats arriving? Other than blowing them out of the water which I'm sure you're not advocating.

And what are the criteria for mass deportations?

No can do once they've entered or waters.

Have the Navy 100M off the coast of France and treat it as a training exercise. small boat deployed as they are spotted to turn tow them back to shore. Can be a bit of a cat and mouse game preparing for a real enemy.

Processing is never going to be quick with the numbers coming through the system. Its perfectly acceptable to find places to lease abroad and house there until processing is complete.

According to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), external and the International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue (SAR Convention), external, states are allowed to pick people up from boats if they are "found at sea in danger of being lost".

But these laws do not allow them to be taken to another state without that country agreeing.

In fact, Article 19 of UNCLOS says that if a "foreign ship" enters another country's territorial waters it will "be considered to be prejudicial to the peace" if "it engages in the loading or unloading of any... person contrary to the immigration laws" of that country.

BBC Verify spoke to two experts in maritime law.

James M. Turner KC, a shipping lawyer at Quadrant Chambers, told us: "The French would have to grant express permission for UK vessels to carry rescued people through their territorial waters and to leave them ashore in France".

Ainhoa Campàs Velasco, a maritime law expert from the University of Southampton, said migrants could not be returned to French shores, "unilaterally, and without prior agreement with France".
