Grok suggests this is a lebonese interview from 2024 .. how much of this is happening in the uk and how much of it are we allowing in ..

The main issue , as with many things for me is the cultural differences , its wrong.

No point beimg angry with people who dont wnat this kind of behaviour here , the behaviour is far more disgusting than anything i can say

It's horrible, people are too busy trying to be politically correct to realise if you let blokes in, unvetted who have been brought up in this culture then it is going to cause issues.

Thing is then when trying to be too PC, you can't back every cause. See LGBT for Palestine.

As a test, somebody should go to Turkey with a blonde wife or daughter etc and see what happens... It is fucking relentless.

Just as nobody on here believes in open borders, nobody has argued for letting people in ‘unvetted’.

Could have fooled me, the usual trick is to blur things by jumping straight to doctors and the NHS etc if people point issues with this particular kind of immigration.
It’s also been pointed out to you that some on here don’t even want doctors to come here if they want their families too.

Convicted terrorist FFS isn't there an MP convicted of child rape as well?

Let's face it. Just cry racism and people shit themselves.

Look at those blokes and the female police officer as an example.

Plenty want to blur concerns into all migration as a whole, all or nothing.
No. Nobody wants people put up in hotels and nobody wants people coming in unvetted. Some acknowledge that we’re reliant on foreign labour, both skilled and unskilled, so you have to wean the country off that gradually. You can’t immediately turn off the tap without certain sectors collapsing overnight.

The ‘sides’ actually aren’t as far apart on this as you seem to think.

The only things that will collapse if the taps were turned off people turning up illegally would be the people making money from it. The coach companies, the NGOs, the translators ,who help people play the system, the accommodation owners. Plenty are making shit loads from it.

The worrying thing is that you have people like that greens who are literally just begging for votes.

Nothing would change if thousands of unvetted, illegal migrants were deported tomorrow.

I tried searching the thread for 'doctors' to see who on the forum has made that argument and all that comes up is people claiming doctors and nurses is always the argument or people saying nobody has made that argument or asking who did 🤷‍♂️
So nobody has tried to blur the different types of immigration?

They aren’t here illegally until they have been vetted and either granted asylum or their claim has been rejected. Again, people on here including me support offshore asylum claim processing and hiring what staff we need to process existing claims on British soil and returning hotels to public use.

Fear this will just get worse and worse

I haven't seen this but the one with the Chelsea player it was foreign people. (Not that it makes it right, just pointing that out)

That's the issue with those sites ☹️

Ok you don’t think racist comments are becoming more common place?

On sites like twitter etc, sure.

Just pointing out the majority of the ones for the footballers are strange, foreign accounts. Same when it was dabo.

Of course not saying that nobody British ever says anything, just that for some reason when you look it's always the strange accounts.

They can threaten lifetime bans from football but they won't ever be within 500 miles of the stadiums anyway.

I think with a fair number of these sporting ones it’s foreigners who’ve put money on whatever game it is then abuse whoever has ‘lost’ them the bet. There was a piece on it not long ago.

Hope so
I so hope I never hear a shout referring to face colour or race as we all heard in block 10 at a recent home game that was jumped on by everyone that was a homophobic shout

Fucking wrong uns. So much of "football" social media is ai or weird foreign accounts like it.

Looking at the wolves screenshots, looks like they are foreign accounts too.

I'm not saying there are no wrong uns in the crowds, of course there will be and they should be banned for life.

It's just when stuff like this comes out it's kind of infered it's the fans (like with dabo).

Although that fan being banned because of a chant at Chelsea is laughable.

Until a couple of years ago it wasn't legal to bet on ice hockey in North America, and presumably other sports.

Across the board players report huge amounts of abuse, including racism and even death threats, since betting has been introduced.

As I understand it the number of training places is limited but being doubled over the next 5 years but the NHS is currently recruiting more foreign trained doctors than home trained doctors. The system has been broken by a complete lack of foresight if not caused at least exacerbated by the huge increase in UK population enabled recent governments.

You're not going to solve the problem overnight as even if you could find the number of people you need and put them into training today you're 5 years or more off them entering the profession.

But there's no point training thousands of new staff if we can't solve the issue of staff retention. Huge numbers leave for better pay and conditions overseas yet any mention of improving those things here is met with resistance.

Not an answer but it appears everything is broken, I've never known it so bad. The political class are a bunch of useless freeloaders many of them being incredibly stupid or corrupt and the NHS is a bloated monster more focused on procedure than fixing problems.

Yeah that tends to lead to accusations of being ‘hard left’.

Resident doctors have received a 30% pay rise in two years and still striking for more ?! Doctors and in particular the BMA are the worst kind of capitalists in socialists clothing

Having said that, as has been highlighted numerous times we’re losing young doctors due to the lack of speciality training places, an ever growing proportion of which were bizarrely being filled by foreign doctors. You could make it up 🤷‍♂️. This is only now being addressed

Ps staff retention is improving within healthcare, leavers down from 12.5% to 10%, with the aim to get it down to 8% by 2037

‘The report found that efficient use of e-rostering, supporting flexible working and flexible retirement, and local listening sessions for staff had the biggest impact on improvements to leaver rates’

Surprise surprise if you run things better, less people leave. Been saying for years it was well known many nurses were leaving or moving to agency due to late/poor roster management
