I highly doubt we are going to get relegated to be honest.

We're an injury in midfield away from playing kids.

That's my biggest worry. We have to see it out until Christmas. That's a long slog with Kelly, Eccles and Sheaf all prone to an injury.

Has Sheaf been injury prone in the past I genuinely can’t remember.

I think eventually Allen will come in and play in the 2 likely with Kelly.

We won't get relegated .. we will be fine
We will be stuck with that midfield for another 2 months and have very hard fixtures coming up after pissing these ones up the wall. Wright looks like he’s given up as well.

We’re going to be in a dogfight for survival without some serious improvement.

I get the frustration but we’ve lost two stand out performers at this level and got probably our best three players out (MVE, Ohare and Sheaf) so probably not time for panic stations yet.

Players definitely lacking in confidence. Tidy enough first half and dominated possession. Gutted Simms effort didn’t go in, things like that can be game changers for players, especially strikers. Just need to nick a couple of scrappy wins from somewhere

Gutted really disappointed we couldn't hold on and get it over the line

1st half was ok just looked so timid and leggy 2nd. Kelly was good don't know why he's getting stick.

I thought Simms looked good, we are definitely not playing to his strengths. I'd like to see him spearhead the box but we are so short in midfield I don't think that's an option at the moment.

Wright deserves stick for the open goal misses, got to be tucking those away but I'm not judging him too harshly on that cameo. We had shrunk back so negatively by the point he got on he was feeding of worse than scraps.

Genuine question, what was the last game that Palmer changed coming off the bench?
I am saying he is that sort of player. Offers something a bit different and can produce the odd bit of magic.

He's a luxury player and clearly struggles to last 90 mins. Hence why I think he's a better option coming off the bench against tiring players

Yeah. Chances are that bad luck ain't gonna continue tbf

We are not a million miles away. 2 more games till I care about the league table. Will enjoy one more week without stress lol
What bad luck? We’re dropping points because we’re a poor side, it’s nothing to do with bad luck.

If anything we’ve got pretty lucky so far this season (Eccles deflected shot falling straight to Godden to give us the lead vs Middlesbrough, Godden’s cross deflecting off a Middlesbrough player and straight into the net for our third, that Watford player passing it into his own net from 40 yards, the ball bouncing in off Ayari’s knob tonight)

Not really but had a sizable calf strain in March iirc?

Kelly hasn't played this much football in years.

In this weird position where I don’t want anyone other than Robins in charge yet I don’t agree with a single thing he says or decision he makes.
Every week he blames the defence and yet we created 3 shots on target in that whole game.
If we had created actual chances we wouldn’t have an issue of drawing every other week.

Don't want to say they shouldn't be doing better, but of course we have sold more than we bought and those players were proven.
£8m on a striker who already looks like he’s given up on himself. Millions more on defenders from Barnsley’s defence last season.

Midfield is horribly weak. The squad looks in disarray to me and this season needs to be about getting to 50 points and pretending it was some kind of cheese nightmare of a transfer window.

Blames the defence he changed 2 players in before we conceded and he's spent a good few million on defenders?

He’s never done it with us, and let’s be honest, he never will. We deserve so much better.

I get what he means.

Will there be a point where he doesn't fancy it anymore? He sounded proper miserable. And not like he does when he moans about resources in the past.

Dont be silly. He was frustrated we didn’t see the game out like the rest of us.

Our striker missed an open goal from 2 yards out to go 2 up , then we defended like kids for the equaliser

I’m not angry about tonight, mainly because I could see it coming , from about 60 minutes it was clear it was going to be one of those games where they we’re going to nick a goal as they were coming back into.

It’s merely the fact it was the last kick of the game that is annoying , absolute sucker punch

Be interested to see if there’s anyone in the free agent market to come and be some cover for the time being in CM

Problem is that you know the value of the players you're selling-the ones you sign are more of a gamble. And on net, we are still down on expenditure. If we keep Hamer and Gyokores and THEN sign these players, THEN we've SPENT £25m.
