Partly agree - but we don't have £20m in the bank (we all know it's less than that, and will come in dribs and drabs), and if you were offered a guaranteed £12m or a 10-15% chance of £120m (or whatever), which would you take?
I have to say I’m really concerned about the lack of transfer activity from the club over the close season. I totally understand that we have to get the right players if available but we are coming into the pre season games with one centre half with the club and the season approximately 4 weeks away.
