I don't pretend to be ITK but I did say yesterday that he was with the squad in London for the game last night.Just to point out all the ITKs said he hadn’t travelled yesterday cos he was off doing a medical. I’d take it all with a pinch of salt.
Has Hamer messed us about? I'm sure the club have spoken to him and know his wishes, no need for the player or club to make his plans public.
For all we know, he wants to stay but also play in the prem and he's willing to give it one more season to achieve that with us.
If he stays we have one of the best midfielders in the division giving us a great shot at promotion, and if he goes, we can strengthen other areas.
I'm quite happy for him to run down his contract but it's not my 15 mill on the line.
