Hughes scored a goal every other game at West Brom including 30 in 1 season. At the time he seemed a decent signing.

We didn't play to his strengths at all. All too often he was the one going wide to receive the ball and crossing into the box for nobody. Pretty stupid for the poacher!

And of course if we hadn't alternated Aloisi we already had the second tier scorer at the club, without needing to spunk the cash.
