Its not like he's even popping up with important goals in times of need either. Like today, under pressure, needing a win, he dissappears.A good striker obviously scores goals but when he isn’t he doesn’t hold the ball up, 2nd best with any CB, doesn’t assist, doesn’t bring others into play. He’s just a passenger.

Simms played well.Our strikers were awful. If they have strengths play to them. In a game like that the two up front have to at least hold the ball up and when they're not getting "service" (easy to rely on that excuse )they were both toothless
Haji had plenty of ball played to him but displayed the classic case of playdoh couldn’t be bothered waste of oxygen let alone space on a piece of grass ‘quality’ that renders me to hating this bastard as opposed to questioning his selection.Simms played well.
It’s not ‘harsh’ at all.All a bit harsh. Our players are clearly, all of them, having problems when coming back from injury. But they will, all of them, turn it around. Win at home, draw away, no need to panic just because of Ipswich. Any result against Brum is fine.
