Probably doesn't mean anything but Chris Badlan follows this account.
Hope he's as good as Kastaneer
Original tweet from what appears to be a legit journalist:
Anyway, I love reading dutch as it reminds me of this classic Harry Enfield sketch:
Would be very surprised if we were spending £1.3m on a player in this current climate.
Right back or Centre Mid - Useful versatility
22 years old so could fit the model.
My favorite Gustavo
When the last folds are ironed out, Gustavo Hamer exchanges PEC Zwolle for Coventry City. The 22-year-old right leg thus gets his wanted foreign transfer. PEC would have preferred to break open Hamer's contract.
Where colleague Pelle Clement is about to extend his expiring commitment, Hamer opts for the adventure. The Brazilian born had only a one-year contract, so the people of Zwolle were clear: extend or sell.
Hamer is now moving to England. A deal with Coventry City - the leader in League One - has almost been completed. There was also interest from other competitions, but the defender has a strong preference for British football.
Hamer, who was previously under contract with Feyenoord, moved to Zwolle in 2018. The people of Zwolle picked him up after a successful rental period at FC Dordrecht. In Overijssel, like Clement, he became a determining player. It was used both in the back right and in the center of the midfield. He prefers the latter position.
The transfer fee can amount to one and a half million euros.

Obligatory YouTube clips
He's a right back? Are we likely to see Dabo move on (he's got to be worth £3m if Mccallum is)? Hope not
Edit - just seen the clip, looks like a ball playing central midfielder, hope he get to to Walsh's level
The Liam Kelly upgrade?
Seems he prefers central midfield. I certainly hope we haven't seen the last of Dabo
Just realised I've actually seen this guy play vs Vitesse. Zwolle won 4-3 and he got the opener. Played central midfield and looked quite handy.
Can see his goal from that game about 3 mins into this video. Tidy finish.
Sorry to take this OT, but you can actually get BrBa action figures???
I think we've just found the Walsh replacement.
Really hope we sign him too
The only way we’re signing anyone for €1.5m is if the GBP:EUR Fx rate has taken a massive swing and €1.5m is now worth approximately 20p!
A lot of it would be add-ons, I assume.
Only a little ‘un
Wow that’s a lot of faith being placed by Robins in the recruitment staff after how Kastaneer turned out and Jobello was just okay
I'll be gutted to see Walsh go, I know chances of holding on to him are slim but I'm hoping against hope.
Hamer is a defensive midfielder, so it looks like it.
He has played 96 games in midfield and 18 at right back
Either to replace Walsh or someone got a deal for one of our players and we know this cash is coming???
Looks Walsh like on the highlights video. Exciting!
Looks really good! Would be happy with this, some great stats for a cdm
Don't think we've got any chance of signing Walsh. Highly rated at Bristol, , was told to go out on loan, play 30 40 odd games and then come back to Bristol and fight to get in the team.
We don't know what SISUs financial situation is, they may be reincarnating operation premiership and going for it this time with the proper management!
He only has a one year option there, why not come here and play week in and week out in the Championship?, sure we'd be willing to offer him 3 years too.
It’s a lot of money to us but in Championship terms it’s very little these days
Luton signed a goalkeeper for the same amount
Has a good eye for a pass and hits a sweet strike by the looks of it. It's s thumbs up for me
How much for the rest of him?
When was the last time we spent the 1.5 mill on a player?? Eastwood? McKenzie?
