I last heard Sham 69 on an advert for EE broadband.
Jimmy Pursey has got to supplement his pension somehow. 🤭

Not watching but will make sure to catch up on St Vincent, she's great 👍🏻
Went to see St Vincent last night in Brum whole gig was a bit flat for me .I had hight hopes for the support artist Cult of Venus after watching some Youtube stuff but it wasn't great just a bit mer .As for St Vincent she was ok her band are top notch musicians and don't really know her music too well . The crowd looked like well to do older types . £8 a pint which is shit !

I expect home secretary Cooper will announce some additional restriction on free speech before long.

The Met has said they will not be prosecuting Kneecap over previous statements.

Avon & Somerset police are considering what Kneecap & Vylan did.

Anyway we shall see in the fullness of time.
You mean apart from the case that one of them is out on bail for?

so 4:40 in Turnstile's set is insane. Having a band with a crowd that size on that stage at that festival blasting some raging NYHC is so surreal. Love 'em!

They've announced their tour and its Manchester and London again. Unless I missed it has got to be years since they've played Brum, or any Wests Mids gig for that matter.

Its an absolute pain that so many tours skip the midlands now. I can just about make a weeknight gig in Brum or Wolves but any further than that and I'm looking at having to take annual leave and I don't get enough of that to use it on gigs.

There must be so many people that just don't go now because its such a hassle. Guess the days of 10 plus dates being the norm are long gone.

Maybe I need to give them more of a listen. Not be overly impressed so far. I think I have heard around 4 tracks. They do sound like they should be right up my street.

One band I would say that do warrant a listen, are Mould, from Bristol.

They weren't at Glastonbury, but are definitely one to watch

They describe themselves as Chunky Punk.

I love them..😎

Neil Young - legend for sure - still singing and murdering a guitar at 70
Plus - most of the modern bands will be gone in 5 minutes - I’m sure Micheal Eavis knew every song on the NY set - fuck the Millennials

Is Nile Rodgers at Glastonbury every time it's on or does it just feel like it?

Ah, would have watched that. Chic are great. First year I've never watch any, not even one minute, of Glass Stone Berry.
