The anti capitalist band of the 90’s selling tickets for 100’s and 1000’s in their last tour
I know you didn’t to be fair, you just explained it wellI didn’t say it was and I don’t think it is!
You pretty much can't tour without Ticketmaster these days, especially in the US. Pearl Jam tried it years ago and found it near impossible and the situation is way worse now in terms of the Ticketmaster monopoly.I think most of that was down to ticketmaster rather than the band and out of their control for that reason? Granted if you make a choice to play within those circles that is what happens though!
Obviously learnt nothing from Kneecap. Expect Vylan will be moving to playing larger venues now.Top story on BBC News now! Never has a Bob Vylan gig (in the early afternoon, on Glastonbury’s third biggest stage) meant so much.
I should like kneecap but they are just shiteObviously learnt nothing from Kneecap. Expect Vylan will be moving to playing larger venues now.
I’ve already seen online people making comparisons between what was chanted and the comments that landed Lucy Connolly in jail.

They did donate millions from ticket sales to charities in the cities they played.
Would love to know how you’ve reached this conclusionYeah I'd say worse at Glastonbury.
Good to see a few lads with their finger on the pulse just realising Glastonbury is political.
Would love to know how you’ve reached this conclusion
Sounds like most professional footballIt’s a middle class commercial gravy train where people can shout a few rude words and forget what it was about the next day.

How is it worse? (This is ignoring what was actually said, of course)What how somebody live on TV is worse than somebody posting on social media then deleting it?
I should like kneecap but they are just shite
If it was Tommy Robinson on stage shouting to kill people live on the BBC you would burst a blood vessel. How is it worse? (This is ignoring what was actually said, of course)
Indulge me, please - explain the difference to me.If it was Tommy Robinson on stage shouting to kill people live on the BBC you would burst a blood vessel.
Surely you can see the difference between live on the BBC on a platform or posting on a personal social media and deleting it?
I literally wrote the difference. It's really not hard to grasp.Indulge me, please - explain the difference to me.
I don’t agree with anyone standing on stage and shouting “death to [x]” and I’m surprised you think otherwise!
Have you? Quote it, I must have missed it.I literally wrote the difference. It's really not hard to grasp.
Yeah I'd say worse at Glastonbury.
Have you? Quote it, I must have missed it.
Why, were there mobs attacking the IDF in Somerset?
The thing about Tommy Robinson? (Ahh him again)You quoted it in a response.
You clearly have an issue with it being pointed out, it's what happens when people get far too entrenched.
I think encouraging and chanting death to anyone crosses a line.Shouting ‘death to the IDF’ is not antisemitic - unless of course people are conflating being an Israeli soldier committing genocide to being Jewish…. Which in itself is antisemitic.
You genuinely can't see the difference between somebody on stage, live on the BBC and a random person posting on their own social media and deleting it?The thing about Tommy Robinson? (Ahh him again)
You still haven’t explained why it’s worse for Tommy Robinson, Kneecap or anyone else to say something on stage at Glastonbury than it is for them to say it online. Clearly we have differing views on this - are you not able to explain why you think I’m wrong?
I clearly don’t see as great a distinction as you do, and yet you clearly seem unable to explain why I’m wrong? Stop fannying around and just explain the difference. Surely you can do that? You genuinely can't see the difference between somebody on stage, live on the BBC and a random person posting on their own social media and deleting it?

I know what your argument is - you think saying something on stage at Glastonbury is worse than tweeting something. You have indeed said that multiple times.I have pointed out the difference.... Multiple times.

Can you explain why it’s worse? You haven’t explained that at all yet.
