You pretty much can't tour without Ticketmaster these days, especially in the US. Pearl Jam tried it years ago and found it near impossible and the situation is way worse now in terms of the Ticketmaster monopoly.

They did donate millions from ticket sales to charities in the cities they played.

You can 100% tour without ticketmaster mate. I have done it and I know lots of people that do it! Granted I’m assuming you mean 10000 plus crowds which is a different story though
