I'd put out our second string Tuesday night the league is our bread and butter

Not only that, I think our second string can get a result against Gills. We've got a great squad.

Hmm I think I'm a bit in between some first team fringe players and ones coming back from injuries need a few more minutes in the legs..
I think it will look something like this.

Wilson GK
Dabo RWB
Mason LWB
Drysdale CB
Rose CB
Hyam CB
Hamer DCM
Sheaf DCM
Shipley ACM
Walker ACM
Baka ST

Subs: Marosi, Giles, Pask, Ostigard, Hilssner, O'Hare, Godden

A lot of the subs only to come on for 20 minute cameos if needed.

Be good to name a reasonably strongish side and get a win again just to boost confidence a bit ahead of qpr.

O'Hare and Hamer possibly not in the squad for this outing. A few others will be rested I suspect. Dabo, Rose, Oostigard and Walker playing their part. Expect Hilsner to get some in too. All with an eye on QPR. Still good enough to steal a win.

Fancy us to put a second string out and lose... Which won't bother me this season as the fixture congestion is real

Gotta be a second team maybe a case for sheaf & Dabo getting 45 but in reality anyone who’s starting Friday probably won’t play Tuesday it’s a long old drive down there and back

Make 11 changes.

No financial incentives at all.

Shame as Wolves away in the 3rd round usually would have been a good tie for both fans and finances.

Major changes needed, especially with us playing Friday, some will need recovery time, and some needing minutes.
I'd play the following.
Bilson
Hyam
Rose
Drysdale
Mason
Dabo
Eccles
Sheaf
Hilsner
Walker
Bakayoko

Eccles is a good shout, would be good to see how he performs against decent L1 opposition in a competitive match.

Side note:

Could someone clarify if Drysdale is suspended for the game on Tuesday or did he serve his suspension v Bristol?

I’m sure the Bristol commentator on ifollow said Ostigard was playing because Drysdale was suspended

I want the win. League will be tough and cup wins could keep confidence up. Also wolves be good test for our young swuad and stoke is winnable even if we are not favourites

We have a squad so can rotate quite alot for this but still have a competitive team out tmrw

Vital mins for likes of mason Dabo rose walker or baka etc

I think in our situation more games to get people sharp faster is a good thing, having none for 6 months had quite an impact last week.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Robins selected our strongest team for this one. Equally, with a Friday night game, it’s the best opportunity to play our role players to get up them up to speed too.

Can’t see it mate it’s a long drive down there and back on a Tuesday when we play Saturday if we played Sunday possibly but not so soon a turn around

We play on Friday night, which is why my initial thinking was play a rotated team.

However, Robins did also point out that we’re behind the majority of Championship teams who carried on the season.
