That's bullshit. They swept it under the carpet until the media furore died down then just carried on as was. The probe into Islamophobia hasn't happened and they're doing all they can to put it off until people stop asking. The Tory party have way more of a problem with Islamophobia than Labour does with anti-Semitism.

These kids you are referring to are all over the age of 18, so unless I've missed something (or indeed you are referring to anyone whose been a student in the past - in which case the entire population of voters), je ne comprehends pas.

Half an hour ago on BBC One.

What Corbyn badly needs to learn is sometimes you need a simple answer, a yes or no. It may not be the right or appropriate answer IRL, but it helps in interviews such as that one...

Whereas the Tories merely hope all the poor people die so they don’t vote.

2 interviews down, 2 new A holes torn. You’ve got to give it to Andrew Neal, he’s brutal.

He’ll do it to all of them. It’s how it should be though, calling politicians out for their bullshit and then not letting them off the hook. Corbyn remained reasonably calm on the outside but he was fuming

Neil raised a couple of very decent points and arguments I’d not seen/heard before to be fair

He held it together well the first 20 minutes, cracked for the last 10.

Wonder how long Johnson will hold it together? He won't be allowed to do his comedy routine, that's for sure

Corbyn will never ever be considered a PM by many and that’s his problem. Starmer would and McDonnell potentially - with Corbyn it’s always the devil you know even if he’s a bumbling chap from Eton

Mail and Express will have a front page tomorrow that Corbyn was savaged.
When it happens to Johnson though they will revert back to something about Prince Andrew or snowflaking.

You have to wonder how much better Labour would be doing if they had someone more acceptable at the helm.

So many people just do not care for him at all.

I'd agree with you if it was someone like Hunt on the other side. Johnson however is anything but statesmanlike!

It's unusual times, where one issue is leading the campaign and yes, the arguably more adult and grown-up response to Brexit from Corbyn isn't necessarily playing well because it can't be summed up in three words. What Johnson does recognise is politics does boil down to the soundbyte. Corbyn tries to be nuanced at times when nuance isn't appropriate and yes, it does make him look more administrator than leader on occasion. Johnson's not exactly calm and unruffled under pressure however - he doesn't do criticism well, so he could potentially unravel rather quickly if he's targeted effectively.

We'll see however. In these interviews, it's a bit like a cricket match - can't decide how any interview has gone, until every side's had their innings! I'd say given who he was facing, that was going alright for Corbyn until the last few minutes - and those minutes must frustrate many in the Labour Party as he could boil them down to a short 'yes', which effectively is what he was saying in a roundabout way anyway!

Agree NW. Johnsons terrible at hiding his annoyance....he could explode !!!

As I say Corbyn remained pretty calm throughout but he’s just like the rest of them deep down ie economic with the truth, which Neils questioning highlighted (he’ll pay that £60bn waspi/female pension issue ‘out of reserves’ :emoji_fearful

I don’t have a problem with his technique so long as all interviewees get the same treatment. I think he’ll make Swinson cry and I mean that as a compliment to her as arguably she’s the most “human” of all the leaders. He should have a field day with Boris, the question is will he have enough time to fit it all in.

No, because that's what commies do. Subvert.

Did we learn nothing from McCarthy in the 1950's?
