So many buzz words to whip up fear.

"Police are braced"
"Biggest collection of police since"

Considering some of the stuff you've posted in the last few days you probably don't want to go down the road of discussing certain peoples narratives.

I thought we were looking at sources now? That guy made up that Muslims were being attacked with acid didn't he?

See.

1 bloke 'compiled a list'

We're all blokes, and we can't fry 30 sausages at the same time let alone 1 bloke organising the biggest night of rioting ever seen in this country

I reckon their plonkers been pulled

This is a genuine question but how many mosques have been attacked?

I know there was one in Southport.

(I'm not saying they haven't, just haven't seen much about them actually being attacked in all of this)

To be fair, the police and media have been whipping up so much.

Hopefully they are ok though!

That's why I didn't like Gynsthetonic's, post when introducing Dutch policies into the conversation the other night conflation of the subject for me!

the problem is the list gets shared and some people act on it

started the false rumours of a far right march in brum on monday and see how that turned out

that's the issue, people believe it and act on it

I don’t really get your point.

My narrative is that immigration is clearly a big issue, but I don’t like racism and nasty stereotypes based on skin colour and ethnicity, things which a few people on here have been exhibiting. I think that ‘narrative’ stinks.

Sky news are scraping the barrel.

An 18 year old has been charged for throwing a brick at police. It showed the CCTV and it was the shittest throw ever seen and missed them by a mile.

Course he should be arrested and charged but surely there's attempted murders from lighting fires to be headline news?

Yeah like I said the media have been pushing it and the police have been getting everybody scared.

Why the fuck is Specsavers at the ricoh closing early, for example?

If it's a list made up by one person?

not sure it was a load of shite initially, but the realisation that hundreds are getting arrested, with their mugshots in the papers & charges incoming has likely cooled their enthusiasm somewhat.

I'd say more the media and police who have tried their best to get people into a frenzy.

Obviously of course I hope that's all it is.

Not sure what you mean. If you mean should they have shut, I'd probably agree.
But I apportion far more blame to the arseholes behind the disorder that's been going on personally, or whoever it is that's shit stirring.

Yeah, amazing. Until they don’t take future ones seriously and someone gets hurt or worse, or the police currently positioned there can’t deal with other emergencies tonight. Not forgetting the small businesses who’ve closed early and lost money or the kids afraid to go out on the street or down the park tonight

I’ve seen funnier things on social media.

I’d do hope it is an anti climax though. Media and social media are a shambles at the moment

There's no way the police were behind the list of 30 sites, someone released that to cause trouble.

Nothing will happen

Well, not nothing, of course there will be places like Rotherham having the ruck, but 100 protests is bullshit.

No way can someone coordinate all that, it's tough enough trying to get blokes to pay stag do deposits

No but I could write a list of 30 sites now. Are they going to be all over the media every 5 minutes with interviews with police chiefs scaring everybody?

The filth are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

If nothing happens, they're overreacting.

If it goes off, they're complacent.

I think they've made the right decision personally.

"it looks like it's going to be a challenging night for the police".

Surely the police have actual intelligence? Let's face it. If they want they can read everything and anything they want if they really want to.

For something of this scale, they can't be going off a list on telegram.

The media are desperate for it to kick off.

Fundamentally the problems are not of skin colour, although at the moment anyone of any colour is fair game it appears.
The realm problem is one of religeon .

Genuinely, how many mosques have been attacked other than Southport? I know hotels have which is targeted but I'm just trying to see how much is misinformation to get Muslims fired up.
