While our tv income is skyrocketing Rugby Premiership haven't even got a broadcast provider lined up for next season

And at no point have I disagreed with anything you've said , I would imagine you are better off than just about all the championship clubs apart from those still getting parachute payments. genuine questions, do you know what your wage bill is now compared to this time last year? i'm not suggesting its gone up significantly but it must be more, are you guaranteed a certain number of televised games per season so that you can budget against them?

Our owner is worth $2.3bn apparently. The only thing we need to worry about financially is her getting bored.

(off topic: I love you coming on here and getting people frothing. Makes me chuckle. Looks like you’re having a decent season, enjoy it)

I think only you believed that.

You think we’re self sustaining? If not my point stands. I’d have thought the word “apparently” would’ve given you a clue as to how much credence I’m giving it.

Im not one for trolls. But the ease with which he gets you all raging is amusing.

Blood pressure probably lower as a result of enjoying a bit of fun. Head over to 'Once a Wasp' site, then you do see how a lot of them view us and blood pressure could go the other way (although they'd say the same if on here!)

Yeah to be fair to Peaches&Cream, it is good to have a reasonable view from the Wasps side of the fence on here.

*That is by absolutely no means me agreeing that they should be here, or that i wouldn't want them gone at the first opportunity.

It would be ridiculous to claim that CCFC are not affected financially by coronavirus issues, but we are in a unique situation where we are likely to be much less affected than most other clubs.

For Wasps i believe it is the opposite. The "off the field" portion of the business can only be seen as another weight around their neck in the current circumstances.

I don't believe staying away from the Ricoh will send Wasps out of business... nor do i believe that coming back would keep them afloat. Whatever happens on that score will likely happen either way regardless of CCFC (and possibly regardless of European rugby next year).

What money do you think they’d get if there are no fans allowed? Peanuts surely
Game day fees. Fans or no fans. You’re right, there is nothing extra at the moment. But if WAsps are in the mire surely the shareholders would want all the money they can get.

Investors yes, but the majority are probably fans, who will be more interested in supporting them. That said, once bitten, twice shy, they won't find people so willing to effectively throw away their money second time around.

I don't think he's got people raging, I think quite a few are calling out the drivel.

I'm a rugby fan and if a well established, local community embedded club, with a strong loyal support like the Saints are losing money hand over fist, (the Tigers too), then a club with huge outgoings, financially overstretched, significant overheads, with some bonds to pay off in a couple of years that they can ill afford, with record losses, are in more shit than the poster cared to mention.

He is right they might not go bust in the next twelve months, but their finances don't look great for the twelve months after that, and I hope when it all goes wrong they take the utter disgraces like Lucas, Duggins, Mutton et al down with them.

Would joy invest in wasps and end up getting her hands on half the Ricoh that way?

Didn't Mutton resign yesterday after being caught flouting quarantine following a holiday in France.
