Showing all the games is really showing how much shite there is in the PL.

Why have they got somebody from the Wirral officiating a Merseyside derby?

My guess is they have done it to minimise distances travelled by officials or the original ref dropped out at short notice.

Watching real Madrid now, they have digital signs on the seats that keep changing.

No idea how

That was a pretty dire game of football all around.

Digitally added? Same tech they use in the NFL to add things like the 10 yard indicator.

Are we have a minutes silence / take the knee / black lives matter instead of names permanently now? We're into the second week of games and they're still doing it.

They kicked off in the man city game and half the players were still kneeling.

This is still the first round of games as Burnley haven't played yet.
Man City v Arsenal and Villa v Sheff Utd were catch up games to get everyone level on games.... presumably to make things simpler should the season finish prematurely because of a bad 2nd wave.

The Leicester game earlier was a total non-event, and this Spurs-West Ham game isn't much better. Son judged offside by VAR about all its had going for it.

That was a weird decision. On the angle VAR was looking at you couldn't see the ball so how did they know they were stopping it at the exact point the ball was played?

I've no idea, honestly. Maybe they just felt the game needed a talking point.

It's dreadful, call it off and go PPG. Just play the FA Cup, Champions league and Europa league.

its like a pre-season tournament. Don't think its even that there's no crowd, just that there's nothing to play for so they're just going through the motions.

Trouble is the big clubs are terrified if that happens that the TV companies won't pay out.

Will be interesting to see the viewing figures for some of these games. If they're good Sky will be pushing to show way more games, if not all games. Not sure you can put the genie back in the bottle now they're started showing them all.
