Yeah I'm glad someone else sees it.

The ridiculous hot potato one twos are boiling my blood. It stinks of lack of confidence and not wanting to grab the bull by the horns. These are our attacking cms and whenever they get the ball their first thought it, 'I don't fucking want it, you have it'

Highlights reel doesn't show the absolute travesty that was our forward play breaking down. I'd have dragged Allen off there and then. Robins talks about character. We were 4 on 4 I think with dacosta (wing back remember so our actual tactic) with the whole pitch free and Allen tried some ridiculous blind one two straight to their guy and they were in.

It was the classic we could have been 1 up and we were 1 down.

I'd like him to at least get a chance at CB, he has the pace and mobility we lack there so he's got to be worth a game at least.

It’s the same around the box when Gus is the only one willing to have a shot rather than sideways pass. With DaCosta against Watford he had half the pitch to himself but was used only by James, Allen was on autopilot and gave it away.

The lad would already have 3 or 4 assists in a better side

How i read it was that some players were not mentally strong enough for this level and were playing their way out of the club. Would think he referring to the Shipley and Hyam type of players rather than the Walker and Hamer.

I spoke to my friend about this before the game yesterday and if we did get relegated who out of any of our players would Championship teams seriously look at and be willing to pay for?

I could only come up with Hamer and Walker, I think in that identifies what a tough job Robins has got with these players at this level.

Dabo and O'Hare as well as Hamer.
I'm not sure Walker would attract much attention.

It’s interesting that Robins questions some player’s confidence. Does his man management help? The fact that he dropped arguably our best defender, Ostigard, presumably because he made mistakes against Cardiff, tells all the players that they are just a couple of mistakes from the chop? Fortunately, Ostigard looks like a strong character, and shored the defense up in the second half. He’s also a threat, of course, from set pieces. I’m all in favour of Robins giving honest assessments of performance, but his comments last night smacked a bit of desperation. He didn’t name players, which is good, but I’m not sure that what he said will improve player’s confidence? And I am a fan and supporter of Robins, who has done a great job for us.

Our keepers aren’t championship level. Marosi is a liability and doesn’t dominate the box. Wilson has done ok and is better than Marko but he still isn’t Champ level.

Rose, Kyle and Hyam are not championship level. Leo is young but you can see the potential in him but isn’t our player.

Dabo is champ level and been injured for most of the season. Dacosta is ok as a replacement and Pask isn’t champ level but fills a gap when needed.

Sam isn’t our player and is hot and cold with his form. He doesn’t have any competition. Reid is injured. LB been an issue this season.

Hamer obviously has the quality but the more you play with the shite around him his quality drops.

Kelly is influential. But missed huge chunks of the season.

James is ok. Not been blown away by him and he is obviously scarred by his injuries and doesn’t go into a tackle.

Sheaf. You see some quality there and then some suicidal tendencies.

Shipley. Shouldn’t be playing in the championship.

Allen. Isn’t good enough at this level. You see the odd decent performance now and then. Too lightweight.

O’Hare I can’t make my mind up. He has missed so many goal scoring opportunities and he doesn’t make the right pass at the critical moment near the box. But he wins a lot of free kicks. Is it a wasted position where we need

Godden. Vanished for this season with injury. Massive miss.

Walker. Injured for the season as well. Still unproven at this level and he needs to get his scoring boots on in the next patch of games.

Max. Is a back up striker and done what he can when we have no other option. He isn’t Champ quality.

Baka. No point.

Viktor. You see glimpses of what he can do but Robins doesn’t fancy him and is a bench player now.

Apart from a few players we don’t have a championship team to compete. If we stay up, there needs to be a massive clear out. If we go down, I suspect the team will be good enough for a promotion push.

They scored 3 2nd half goals Saturday so I wouldn't say they're inclined to sit off.
There were very few positives from last night but a slightly improved second half performance was one but anything we do which is slightly positive you have to find a reason to slate it.

Very clear to me that Norwich were so quick our formation just couldn’t handle it and ended up a bit like headless chicken - Gus had no one to pass to - Shipley struggling as a wingback - Norwich cut through the back three line a knife through butter - Cantwell is another Madison

they were good in fact the best in the league - we drew the second half - onwards and upwards PUSB

We lost to two gift goals. You can't be doing that to a side like Norwich. You have to really make them work for their victory.

in fairness it has been a common theme. Practically every player has been responsible at some point - whether gift goals or missing easy chances.

It doesnt matter what the tactics or formation is - a lot of it is just basic errors, poor decision making or lack of character.

All the signs of a team not quite at the required level. I dont think we should be suprised really. I always thought it would be a case of just getting above the bottom three and just survive.

It is better to have a bad spell now than at Easter. Every team has a bad spell in a season.

Also this insinuation that quick one twos are being scared of having the ball is nonsense. It's more showing you are confident at moving the ball quickly which is what you need to do at a decent level of football. O'Hare's ball back was a poor one and left us fully exposed, that said there are serious questions about how Hyam got so easily done and Wilson's positioning didn't look the best.

One thing I’m getting fed up about is “they were in the premier league last season” “their budget is higher than ours” - valid points - but he seems in awe of everyone in the league.

how you supposed to convince your Players you deserve to be here when you’re constantly making it sound like we’ve won a competition to be on the same pitch

I think they are scared. One twos are great when they work but there's a time and a play and tthat clearly wasn't one. Our play breaks down so easy every time. You're right about Wilson, pukki didn't need to do anythinng to score than, he had the whole goal to aim at.

Wilson has been a number 2 his whole career at league 2. He's not some young kid we've discovered who's gonna rise. He's 28 and he's ultimately not good enough for where we are. Nor is Marosi by the looks of it.

Tough words that players are playing their way out of the club. Who is talking about?

“Absolutely, yes, but it shouldn’t take us getting into them at half-time for that to materialise because they are playing themselves out of the team.

“And they’ll be playing themselves out of the club if they are not careful. They have to show strength of character. It’s very easy to go under. There were one or two who were showing signs that they weren’t in a great place mentally, and then it affects you technically.

“We gave the ball away too often and looked rushed in possession.”

Rushed in possession ? That’s what happens when you face a high hard press and still continue you fuck around at the back

The pitch was an injury risk that didn’t justify pushing for more goals with the game in the bag. I said at the time we looked better with the superior shape but like Saturday the effort only appears when the opposition has declared

Yes, it’s not been mentioned, but at the time I thought Wilson’s positioning for Pukki’s goal looked suspect. Seemed to have a lot of goal to aim at. And yes, although O’Hare gave the ball away when we were in a promising position, it was far too easy for them to play through us. We made Pukki look like a greyhound. Mind you, as soon as O’Hare gave the ball away, I kind of knew what was coming. Sad.
