I used to work with his brother-in-law (Evans married his sister) in Peterborough and he was shocked that Evans didn't go down for his part in what went on at Boston, I am pretty sure the chairman was jailed. When my friend got married in 2010 Evans or his wife didn't turn up at his wedding but turned up on the day before the wedding to give him an envelope full of money to go on honeymoon with. They often go on holiday with Evans, his wife & daughter and Evans pays for all of them to go and everything when they are there and always has a full wallet. Maybe he just doesn't trust banks but seems a bit dodgy for a run of the mill lower league manager

The F.A should do something about managers resigning from one club to take over another, maybe hit them with a big fine, or go to tribunal
But apart from that he seems pretty honest and decent.A bit of research on google and good old Wikipedia shows that three times at Boston he was under the microscope
These are just a few of the things that Evan's has been convicted/charged with, excluding the usual minor bans, over his illustrious career:
2002 - He was found guilty by The FA in December 2002 of impeding an FA inquiry into contract irregularities. Evans was also suspended from the game for 20 months in January 2003 for involvement of the affairs of Boston, in which players' contracts lodged with the FA contained false salary details. Evans was further accused of impeding the inquiry and fined £8,000.
2005 - In September 2005, Evans and four other people connected with Boston appeared in court, denying fraud charges.
In 2006, Evans changed his plea, pleading guilty to conspiracy to evade tax.
The jury heard the club operated a shadowy system of parallel contracts and secret payments which enabled them to recruit the best players which they otherwise would not have been able to afford. Star striker Ken Charlery told the trial he was given one contract which promised him £620 a week plus a £16,000 signing-on fee. The Lincolnshire club's cheating was so successful that they gained promotion to the Football League in 2002 with a squad of players of whom many were being paid inflated wages written into secret contracts.
On 3 November 2006 Evans received a one-year suspended sentence and a £1,000 fine.Despite these events, Evans kept his manager's position at Boston, a decision that angered the Boston United Supporters' Trust.
2006- On 11 February 2006, he was escorted from Grimsby Town's stadium Blundell Park by Humberside Police at half-time, after he berated the fourth official after being incensed when Grimsby goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall appeared to handle the ball outside his area and was immediately spoken to by a police officer after a complaint of alleged foul and abusive language.
2012- In September, Evans was given a six-match stadium ban and fined £3,000 by the Football Association after being found guilty of "using abusive and insulting words and behaviour" towards a female member of Bradford City's staff, an incident which occurred during his time at Crawley

Why? People are free to resign from their jobs to go and work for another employer - just like you or I am.
I get that footballers/managers are contracted but there's nothing to stop someone speaking to their current employer to negotiate a break clause, it not already inserted.
People can work who they chose for as much as they want. Fact of life.

Clubs have no loyalty to the managers or players, why should they show any loyalty back?

The test of TM's management is how he does in the Championship which is where Blackburn should be.Managers can have success at some clubs and fail at others.
Mowbray clearly failed here and even said so himself.
As Middlesbrough fans said, when things were going right he was a very good manager, but when things started to go wrong he seemed unable to halt slides.
He has a very strong team at Blackburn and arguably the best, or second best squad in that division.
Hope he does go up. I do like the bloke as a person, but he was a poor manager for us by the end of his tenure and he couldn't correct the very poor summer recruitment decisions he made.
Time to move on.

my "buddy" got us our best place position in a decade. 2 bad months does not erase that. slade got us relegated
this is proven as slade went on to fail and mowbray is top, even if he dont get promoted he has once again proved hes a top manager
