No of course not, I was responding to the previous discussion and the usual hyperbole that comes up.
The fact is that the team’s record in comparison to similar sized countries in actual competitions is poor, yet whenever it gets brought up it reverts to the usual jingoistic crap that it’s an attack on the country as a whole.

With Cov being stuck in God awful divisions for 7 years now success for the England team is one of few footballing things to be pleased about. Along with Scotland still failing to qualify even when they open the tournaments up to nearly everyone
