But again unless the judge has ignored sentencing guidelines, which is unlikely, the issue is with those rather than anything specific to this case.

Seems to be common now that we have people complaining about sentences when they are in line with the guidelines.

If people want tougher sentencing then that's fine, there's an argument for that. But in at least the short term you're going to face the issue of where to put people if you're sending more people to prison for longer.

Even if the money can be found for a large prison building program you've got to find suitable locations, go through planning etc. Its not going to be a quick process.
The courts do exactly what 2 Tier Keir says say i dont care what anyone says.

Look how quickly the online people were processed, in days all heavy sentences. Ricky Jones took a year to be done, just as it had all calmed down and was found not guilty despite being on video saying people should have their throats cut.

If it was a white British man attacking a Muslim with a knife there would be riots and he would be on remand. Yes or No?
I think the man would be in jail yes. The man he attacked is probably Turkish going from the name, although clearly not a fan of the old Islam thing.

*Edit* Sorry Kurdish.

Well this is the thing, the justice dished out in this country definately changes depending on who you are, where your from, what sex you are, what religion you are and how well connected you may be.

This is why people dont trust the justice system, its wrong.

So he gets a couple of weeks litter picking for slashing someone with a knife. Doesn't look great for our country when a Muslim can do this but if it was a Christian you'd of been looking at a few years inside

A senior member of the royal family was a certified nonce who got his mum to spend over £10 million to bail him out.

Don’t get me started about most the Royal Family.

They will be lucky if they don’t end up like the Romanovs.
The point is that it's money and fame that have the largest bearing on who gets justice in this country, not the individual merits of a case. The post office scandal was outrageous, with ordinary people bullied around and those responsible allowed off the hook. Longer ago; the Hillsborough disaster, Telford hospital, etc etc.

Well yes it seems to be the case.

It's not though is it?

Joseph, Liam, Kyle and Harry don't sound like Muslim names to me, but what do I know.

AN OSWESTRY man who lunged at two paramedics at his flat with a six-inch kitchen knife while drunk has been spared jail.

Joseph Farrell, 49 and of Llywn Road, was sentenced to an 18-month community order at Shrewsbury Crown Court for the offences against the paramedics on March 31 this year.

A man who knifed his brother during a bloody brawl in the middle of a Dundee street has been ordered to perform unpaid work.

Liam Smith had blood running down his face when an off-duty police officer sprung into action to stop him from attacking his brother Reece in the Douglas area of the city.

His brother was left with a serious injury to his ring finger after being struck with a blade.

A 22-year-old man has been spared jail after stabbing another man in the head outside a City of London pub.

Kyle Quinn, of Hammondstreet Road, Cheshunt, was handed a suspended sentence following the violent altercation at the Woodin Shades pub on Bishopsgate.

An EastEnders actor who slashed a woman with a knife after she turned down his sexual advances has been spared jail.

Harry Rafferty, 34, flew into a “rage” and threatened to kill the woman during a confrontation at a friend’s home in Camden. He threw punches and slashed the woman across the stomach, chest and both sides of her face with a knife.

And the police service has admitted to being institutionally racist but hey it’s the poor British white man and woman that are hard done by

unbelievable how the media manipulates and fries peoples brains

It's mad how any of them are spared jail. Dangerous people need locking up, and these all fall into that category for me and shouldn't be seeing the light of day for years and years.

Quite, so the nonsense about this guy being spared because he is Muslim and if he was white he'd go to jail was a load of shite.

I notice @Gynnsthetonic didn't respond to it.

I am getting really fed up of all this now.

So, basically, I have three friends who I don't actually see in person, but am always in contact with.

One, as I mentioned the other day, is Muslim, but has lived here for over 17 years, is very westernised and speaks better English than most on here I would have thought. Both herself and her three children are now getting daily racist abuse (kids are 16,14, 10)

Then I have a friend in Houston, who works in a TV newsroom, as an editor. She is of Korean heritage and she now doesn't feel safe and worries about her family. She was born there, but her parents, not. She says things have changed at work and the way people now talk to her has changed too.

She is now suffering from depression, because she hates what America has become and the anger and hate that's flying around now. I don't think her parents speak very good English at all.

And now, I have just had a message from my friend in Taiwan, to say one of the big pieces of news in Taiwan right now, is of a Taiwanese girl who got attacked by some teenage white girls in London. The teenagers pulled the Taiwanese girl's hair and banged her head against a wall and the girl ended up with bruises, cuts and wounds. It very much appears to a racial motivated crime.

Some other Taiwanese people in London have also reported they get sprayed with water guns on the tube.

That's three friends, in one week, I am getting these stories from.

This has to stop.

If we are going to talk about immigration and coming up with a solution, it needs to be done in a civilised way and with people sat around a table, not going on to the streets and threatening and intimidating anyone who is the wrong colour.

Trump is riling people up in the US and the likes of Farage and Robinson are doing the same here. They are getting people angry.

Let's not treat all refugees, migrants, asylum seekers, like they are all scum and shouldn't be here.

It saddens me so much. 😥

Rapist in UK spared jail for being Islamic student Rapist in UK spared jail for being Islamic student

Seriously, fuck off with this racist shite. You've searched around for some anti-Muslim propaganda and grubbed up a paragraph on an Indian paper that has literally no context or evidence around it.

If you repeat this bullshit you are a fucking racist. You should be ashamed of yourself.
It's one rule for one and one rule for others, for years , the police and courts are to scared to persecute the offenders. If your ok with Pakistani rape gangs getting away with it for years your the one that needs to fuck off. There's not one racist comment I've made buts that's all you come up with time after time

Very woke Otis you missed the briefing on all people being equal being a thing of the past

you only have value if reform and Farage and tice and their media enablers say you do

power wins over compassion
Money over integrity
