Great idea. I know a friend who’s had a rough ride recently who’d appreciate offer but I’m sure whoever gets picked will enjoy watching CCFC next season

All sorted, purchased for an adult and JSB, and committed to a match package for someone else.

Thank you all for the tweets and nominations. We have made someone very happy tonight, let’s hope the players do their part now in August.

Top man.

(I just hope they still appreciate on a cold February Tuesday evening!)

I am the lucky recipient of the season ticket + JSB.

Mild mannered janitor, you are being very humble and modest on private message but I can't tell you what this means to us.

I won't go into our situation on a public forum but needless to say, it has brightened up our house and gives us something to look forward to. My 11 year old daughter hasn't stopped smiling. She will finally get to see in the flesh, the sky blues she supports but has until now only listened on the radio with the odd treat of a tv match.

I will forever grateful to you sir, and I make this promise on my life - if ever I'm in the position where I can spare the money - I will do this for somebody out there who will deserve it.

Thank you a million times.

An amazing gesture and it looks like you have really made a difference to somebody, fair play to you!

Can't help but think it might be worth trying to setup a regular Gofundme type thing, I couldn't afford to buy one up front for somebody but I'd be happy to chip in to make a CCFC fan who might not be as fortunate to be able to get a ST and go every week but would genuinely love to happy!

Genuinely brilliant thing to do. Fair play MMJ. If you're ever thirsty at the Ricoh I'll gladly buy you a pint.

It was short notice and two other people contacted me, I am sure there could be others but if people think this has legs, then I am happy to set up a go fund me page, if most posters just put in £5 then I am sure we could help out two more adults who would really benefit from this.

Maybe hit like on this post if you would be willing to do this and we can gauge the level before we consider setting up? I don’t want it to flop with £50 raised.

Ah I see. It’s all a trick to get betting credit.

Seriously though I’d help.

Lovely idea, MMJ.

I do honestly think that some posters on here have no idea how much some people struggle financially to even get to games let alone buy a season ticket.

Maybe Sky Blue in the Community could set something up, or the Jimmy Hill Fund if that's still a thing (haven't heard much from them recently).

Same here.

I have always been too trusting of people and always try and see the good in everyone, but when you hear stuff like this it warms the cockles of your heart.

Might sound a little trite, but I keep a list and it's a list of people who I encounter who have been nice to me, or who I feel need help. I add them to my list as I encounter them and have it in mind that if I ever come into some money I will help them out or give them some reward.

Whenever I get a lottery ticket I clock if the person selling it to me has been nice and if they are I always have it in mind to go back into the shop and give them a little bit of my winnings should I win.

Superb - and also Lenny Lee Lee - so humble . I do not know your situation, but you are clearly a very genuine person , and the 1st person you mention is your daughter

I hope better times are round the corner for you, but in the meantime you will know that on a Saturday afternoon, you can be cold, wet and miserable with the rest of us

Enjoy

Otis, you are one of those people, you may not remember but you let me have a spare ticket for Crewe away in the JPT for my nephew so I already know you are a nice guy.

Oh right, that was you.

Happy to help.

I never seek to make monetary gain out of anything.

Maybe that's why I am always broke, but happy.

I'm sure there are many supporters who live too far away to travel every week themselves who are willing/wanting to donate to this to help get people into the ground.

Let's be fair it is expensive to watch football at ANY level these days but fewer better ways to bring communities together.

Especially helping youngsters to watch the City.

Absolute top notch work MMJ.

I've noticed that season tickets have been available all weekend at the early bird prices despite the deadline having passed. This might change today, so just a head's up for those still sitting on the fence.

Scrub that, they have now gone off sale, presumably they'll go back up shortly at the new price.

Quite a few seats have come available this morning suggesting a lot of non-renewals (although some of these people may have moved seats).

Now this is the sort of story the CT should be reporting on. Hopefully it could go viral to let the world know what we already believe - Sky Blue fans are the best and biggest hearted there is.
