Did DK not say at the end of last season that he hasn't got a limitless pot of money to spend? I took this to mean we would not be doing a Sunderland. We would be working with the same squad and adding a few judicious signings.
The main issue I think is that really useful strikers aren't cheap at this level so I am not expecting much activity on that front, simply because DK would not be able to risk the expense.
So the players we have brought in make sense.
