Ideally Millwall when they sneak 2nd place on Saturday, or Derby/Hull when they win the play-offs.

While I would normally agree with this logic in the cup, in the league I would always rather play one of the teams who would typically expect to beat us and hope to catch them before they get into their stride! Villa come into that category and would be my choice.

I agree. Get a couple of the big teams out of the way before they get all of their transfer business done and make their marquee, deadline day signings.

I think if we can get our business done early and give the squad a full pre-season as a complete unit, we can at least be competitive.

Half agree. It is sometimes better to get them early for a better chance of getting something but on the same train of thought also better to get them out of the way too.

I think it's more of the fact the world cup is on this year so most of the big sides will have players back late and we might catch them off guard.

Got off to a flyer and carried it through.

Home vs another relegation candidate or mid-table team.

Forest, Everton or Sunderland would be the most appealing out of that category.
