same reason you always call him anthony charles lynton blair
Not at all. That’s his name. I mean no one refers to a certain leader as “formerly known as David Paulden” do they?
xactly not sure on the point hes makingStephen Lennon is his name.

On behalf of the media, I’m sorry if you find this distressing or disrespectfulI do always wonder why the media say he is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon rather than Tommy Robinson
Wasn’t that Roman ?he likes big tits to be fair so i give him a +1 for that
Nah, he just liked young ones.Wasn’t that Roman ?
Probs because one changed their name and the other uses an alias. Probably in the public interest to make clear what the bloke who has committed a bunch of crimes is actually called.
also not sure it's the same as changing your name from one that was adopted in the hope of avoiding antisemitism back to your family's original name. Hardly apples vs. apples tbf.

that's always pi$$ed you off.
Why do you call him Charles?I think you missed my point Charles
Why do you call him Charles?
Who is he?It was fascinating to see David Paulden on TV this morning.
He was doubling down on his view there is no such thing as a biological woman and that anyone can be a woman and he will offer gender reassignment treatment on the NHS for all who want it.
I would be changing his name again if I was him.
Who is he?
DohThe leader of the Green Party
What, like Stephen Yaxley-Lennon is Robinson's name? Only there is no need to assume that as we know it's true. One assumes its his name
I would be changing his name again if I was him.
yes i did too. can you explain?I think you missed my point Charles
yes i did too. can you explain?
So I dont really get why you dont refer to Tony Blair as Tony Blair as that what he chooses to go by in public. Very odd.I have zero interest in Tommy Robinson - but that is the name he goes by so I do not see why there is any Kudos in referring to his birth name. If he wants to be known as someone who I think was a football thug of the same name than you accept it. Its the same as people like Zach or David really so just go with the name they prefer to be called.
George Osbourne is rarely referred to by his actual name as isn't Alexander Boris Pfeffel Johnson.
The deed poll argument does not wash either as John Lewis and his failed attempt at political success is really John Lewis.

Isn't the main reason why TR and SYL get mentioned because the article is usually about a scrape with the law, and you can't be charged or convicted as an alias? Kind of a public interest angle as well seeing as he used aliases to dodge the law incl. the TR name if I remember right?
Er I’m talking about people mentioning him on a football forum?
OK, I'll follow threads more closely in the future.
Haha that’s hilarious, shows how clever of a bloke he isTo be fair your understanding of politics is pretty basic at best. You had to have it explained to you why Andy Burnham couldn't become PM without being elected to Parliament.
You had to have it explained to you why Andy Burnham couldn't become PM without being elected to Parliament.
And using SYL is merely a reminder of 'Tommy's' middle class upbringing. Either never refer to Blair as ACLB anymore or stop complaining that people refer to Robinson as SY-L.Stephen Yaxley-Lennon does refer to himself as Tommy Robinson - thats my point!
You can't refer to Tony Blair with his full name including middle names in normal conversation - its merely a reminder of his rather public school upbringing - same as Alex Johnson who decided Boris would be more trendy and Lord Anthony Wedgewood Benn hiding himself as Tony Benn.
Yet we seem to accept Zak Polanski as legitimate as he claims to have officially changed his name - John Lewis did that as well though,
Regarding Zach - or is it David - Private Eye have put an interesting article out that suggests his poltical views rather change like the wind. Sort of appropriate I guess.
How the fuck do you get a trial delayed to go on an 'official' visit when you have no official capacity?Far-right activist Tommy Robinson's trial verdict has been delayed because he is travelling to Israel for an official visit. Robinson's lawyer told the court yesterday: "He is a guest of the Israeli government in Israel tomorrow".
Two tier keirHow the fuck do you get a trial delayed to go on an 'official' visit when you have no official capacity?
And why can you leave the country in the middle of a trial which is only happening because you were arrested trying to leg it out of the country?
