You seriously dont think the main driver in reforms popularity is immigration?

Starmer is horribly unpopular. If the polls are true in Scotland and wales where it’s far less of an issue why are they also popular there?

Answer the question, do you think the main driver for reforms surge is immigration, yes or no?

Obviously...but if they're voting for Reform expecting their lives to majorly improve they're going to be very disappointed. If anything, those worse off will be impacted the most with them in charge.
People are pissed off with the incumbant parties so they're voting for alternatives to send a message.

Within walking distance of where you live?
How many crimes and sexual assaults have happened in your village then Grendel? (Excluding racist attacks or demos instigated by the EDL/Britain First/Reform or any other far right groups). Please enlighten us with the stats and cases.

Fair. Im just saying the argument, (well its not even an argument its a get out of jail free card by shouting racist) that everyone who votes reform is racist has been put to bed.

Unless we do actually have tens of millions of racists in this country. Which i highly doubt
And me and certainly my neighbour is not a racist he just thinks there’s too many people who’ve come into this country on small boats and they get everything handed to them and hard working British people have to work for anything and are paying more for less

Can’t argue on the diagnosis just on the reasons and the solution

He lives in the midst of 6 migrant hotels, has previously risen to the top on the toughest estate in Britain, worked to the top of the car industry and now drives a motor you can only dream of

Reform/Farage are very good at absolving themselves of blame.

Poor council performance will be blamed on having their hands tied because of the Labour government.

Then when they're in number 10 poor performance will be blamed on the ECHR.

There's always someone to blame.
And a group of people to fear

Because people believe the story that everything would be ok if we hadn’t allowed millions of people into the country over the last 10 years wherever they are

And if we ever managed to stop people coming in. Which in large numbers we have they’ll be another group of people to blame while the elites get richer and richer

No as I’ve said it’s Starmer and a country fed up with two parties who are viewed as arrogant and unpopular

I'd say its the complete opposite tbf. Its only BECAUSE of the way the conversations around it have been shut down and denied for so long that Farage has got to the position hes managed to.

Sent from my SM-S711B using Tapatalk
But he has talked about immigration consistently and not been cancelled. He's been given a platform on the beeb and other mainstream media.

In Scotland??

People have been fed up for years but shifted vote from cons to lab and vice versa. Now it's going to reform cos it's mostly about immigration imo

Of course it is. People are deluded to suggest otherwise.

They could have voted lib dem, green, independents

There’s a reason they’ve voted reform

It seems that we are at a fork in the road.

The numbers speak for themselves. Yes, whilst more people may be open to say they voted for Reform out loud now, there's still some stigma about it, and most people in the street are still going to give a half answer.

Voting Reform, in my opinion, is down to two reasons. A massive up yours to Starmer, and the main political parties who have dragged us down and made the quality of life worse whilst the cost of living has spiralled, and it's also a message directly about immigration, that it has gone too far.

Do I think Reform will resolve it? Unlikely. However, many people have seen the numbers and see what's happening to the UK with their own eyes. There's also many that feel betrayed by Brexit, which is a reasonable take given that the country should now be able to control its borders, but instead has, rather deliberately, done the opposite.

It's a hostile time for politics in the UK. I think a lot of people are at breaking point. The next few years could get messy, but maybe that needs to happen before it has any hope of getting better.

I’ll be on my way out to Czech. Countries down the pan

The projection is for Labour to get 12% of the vote in wales. Starmer will just shrug his shoulders blame someone else and carry on

I would love to know the specific reasons Reform voters want to give an 'up yours' to Starmer. And I mean actual specifics - reasons why he's making them worse off, reasons he's impacting their daily life.

I can almost guarantee the majority wouldn't have a clue other than they think he's inviting MILLIONS of immigrants in

I’ve just Googled whether the Czech government is left or right wing and it was described as right wing, anti immigration and populist coalition. May as well hang around here

They are even more anti anyone not a national so it will be perfect

FFS sake the stance of Israel coupled with the US is fucking everyone up, strategically we've been declining since the 70's and the big sell off,we won't solve it by having more of the same, right to the week before my daughter was due to renew mortgage is currently £200 a month Extra.
It's a psycho drama out of America.

This has all already been explained to you dozens of times.

I think you are too out of touch with the majority of how people feel. The way you don't listen to people is the same way how Starmer and co are not listening to people. The end result is that you are both on your arse this morning.

If anyone thinks Reform or the Greens have credible answers to the huge number of complex problems this country and most of the developed world are facing, I’ll have whatever they’re drinking or smoking

Theyre populist parties that are leveraging divisions in the country. I just hope the country wakes up to this before the next GE and the main parties give something for people to vote for.

I get the point but you could also argue Labour and the conservatives dont have the answers either.

Tell her to cut back on her avocado on toast and Netflix, only then will she be fine.

Why are Wales going to for the first time appoint a PC government? What’s the excuse to defend Starmer there?

Why is Starmer the most unpopular leader since polling on popularity began?

I think most people are more concerned with what's on their own doorstep and largely don't give a fk about Israel. It's a conflict that has been going several decades, albeit recently intensified.

People say they hate Starmer and that's fine - they just can't seem to actually say why.

I want actual specifics of why Starmer is making their lives worse. I haven't heard any yet.

I'm all ears though if you can list a few. Alhough this is mostly aimed at Reform voters.

I'm still mostly annoyed at the way he said 'Coventry'. This was way before he was elected and I'd already made my mind up then I didn't like him :)

Virtually the whole country despises Starmer - even Scottish Labour have tried to say he’s nothing to do with them

That's fine, at least it's a specific reason! 😅
