Well I don't think he needs £50. One thing Reform have done is use all social media avenues and use algorithms to boost its profile. Its obsessed with all channels and believes in maximising SEO to its full.

Its working as you are talking about it

Going from “it’s a non story without much media interest” to “online paedo shoutouts are a central plank of our election strategy” is fantastic work

Can you honestly even remember which point you’re supposed to be arguing anymore?

So the best way to raise Reform's profile is to send a video commemorating one of the most despicable and high profile peadophiles of this country in the last few years?

That's much worse than him doing it for the grift of £50 that he doesn't need.

You are going to get the odd mishap but the reality is that its pretty recognised Reform are easily the most skilled operators in that area.

I don't think I actually said that

Whats incredible is Nigel Farage with a tiny number of MP's gets far more focus from many people on here than say the Greens, the Lib Dems and the Tory Party. The actual comment had very little media interest - Its generally acknowledged the social media strategy is a significant part of the strategy

I mean a man thats generally considered a one man party with a few fruit cakes and clapped out Tories is according to you very possibly the next Prime Minister - so you very clearly are influenced to even think that way.

The overall strategy is to try and get an engagement from young voters.

Reform would attract very few voters from these segments. It is growing. Crucially the voter interest then needs to be nurtured into a commitment to vote

Talking about the leader reading a tribute to one of the most notorious sex offenders in recent times is a sign Reform's strategy is working?!

I would say you and Pete are obsessed more than anyone with Nigel Farage. Why? Its a tiny party that according to you is finished because of this video. You post far more about Reform than the Greens - yet you are saying its a failing strategy.

What are you actually saying? There’s a lot of posts in a row from you and you seem to be getting a bit defensive. I didn’t mean to upset you by criticising Big Nige.

I think Nigel Farage is a chancer - to suggest he is not a skilled operator though is beyond dumb -after all you think he is a Prime Minister in waiting - think about that.

He's been doing it before Reform were even about wasn't he. Its clearly for the cash

I don’t think there’s any tension between me thinking that he’s a likely future PM and that he’s also capable of dumb mistakes like this, is there?

Why do you seem so allergic to anyone pointing out these comical screw-ups of his? It reliably sends you flailing in all directions - you were scoffing at the idea it might be a story of note, now here you are a week later clogging up the thread trying to play it off as another tactical masterclass from Nige.

I am hardly allergic - you think he needs £50 - "clogging up a thread" - yes its a hive of activity discussing other topics

1. You make more posts about Farage than me. Are you obsessed with him?
2. Reform are on course to be the next government, of course I discuss them more than the Greens
3. When did I say they are finished?
4. I never said using social media is a failing strategy.

Some remarkable windmilling going on here.

Well yes lots of £50's add up.

Its almost as bad as when someone "tricked" him into saying a pro irish republic phrase.

Has it damaged him in any way politically?

Whether he needs it or wants it is a matter for his bank manager (whoever that is these days). I think that’s his motivation for making the video paying tribute to a paedophile - are you standing by your claim that he did it “to try and get an engagement from young voters” (sic)?

The first comment was;

"Feels like the man currently in pole position to become the next Prime Minister agreeing to pay tribute to the country’s most notorious paedophile in exchange for cash should be a bigger story."
Ok? That doesn’t imply he genuinely supports him, just that he took cash to do so and it should be a bigger story.

Oh has his line changed from "well he probably didn't know who he was"

I personally didn’t think it was worth re-upping this story over a point as obvious as this, but clearly some people had trouble understanding it.
