Imagine if Sultana, Polanski, Starmer or any of the preferred figures of fun was rattling off videos as a side hustle and gave a shout out to a child rapist. Internet would melt.

What are you suggesting? There is a media cover up?

Well oddly I am looking at the media headlines and I don't see it - is this an SBT exclusive which you are waiting to deliver to the world across numerous media outlets and publications?
It’s on the previous page of this thread, you replied to a post that referred directly to it. Have you just woken up?

But its claimed on here this should be across every main media outlet and is THE biggest story regarding Farage?
Sorry haven't seen that. Just showing you where its been reported in the media.

Its in bad taste wouldn't you agree?

Can anyone translate this

I think its easy start is Star Mr Bernstein - I am genuinely interested why you believe journalists should consider this bigger news that - oops - Jenrick and why they all (other than the Star) got it so wrong. Is this your article in the Start (oops sorry - Star?)

I genuinely needed even know (sic) the Star had covered it today tbh - it isn’t usually in my morning reading

I feel like it shows pretty awful judgment from Farage - don’t you agree?

He's made to look a bit silly, and I would have expected him to know who Ian Watkins was, but he's the victim of the prank at the end of the day. Not sure it is really a massive deal that some want it to be.

Well yeah exactly, that's the point being made.

Which may mean its considered a non story rather than a right and left wing media conspiracy to protect him from scandal?

I am sure it is but I don't see it making headlines anywhere soon - other than the Star

It was his grift video that was posted on here the other day about Ian Watkins.

Its pretty obvious now I have looked at it that he did not know who Ian Watkins was and the prankster admits he said Ian Watkins was deceased and wanted a tribute.

I would have thought if anyone wants to seriously challenge anything its his right to front a News Channel evening slot, be paid vast amounts for it and have a free reign on its content.

You don't think the potential PM would/should know about one of the most high profile sex offenders in recent history?

Even ignoring this particular story or whether he was tricked, it's pretty awful optics that he's doing these shitty little videos anyway for 50 quid here and there.
I'm not sure if I'm surprised that you're defending him on this but it's honestly hilarious that you've tried
You’re both making a mountain out of a molehill. Serious journalists and news outlets haven’t bothered with the story for a reason.

Wasn’t Starmer head of the CPS when it chose not to charge Jimmy Saville?

But its still in bad taste isn't it.

I think a man seriously running for Prime Minister would be doing things to protect his image, not grifting for £50.

If Nige can’t be arsed to do even the slightest bit of due diligence into these Cameo requests what makes you think he’d approach governing differently?

Edit: and given he’s been burnt before by a similar request you’d think he’d have even more reason to scrutinise?

And if he'll do something like that for £50, what will he do for £10k or £100k?

He presents GB News

I’ve not said I think it’s another Pentagon Papers or something, and plenty of serious outlets have indeed covered the story. The question is one of judgment and the calibre of the people around him and it seems like Farage’s have been found lacking. Surprised it didn’t generate more conversation on here at first tbh.

The Starmer/Saville stuff was worn out during the Sunak premiership!
