I happen to agree with on the Starmer/Saville stuff. The point is more about ‘judgement’ or the people in Starmer’s government who have represented terrorists, like Lord Hermer. That’s also questionable judgement and these people are running the government.

Nonetheless, you’re dragging up a prank and presented it as if it was obvious that it referred to the Lost Prophets frontman. Most of public would see it for what it is: a prank that’s caught him out and made him look daft.

Barristers represent upholding the law, it's one of the functions of what is a word renowned legal system. I thought somebody who calls themself a traditional conservative would have the deepest respect for that.

Yes but I don’t respect when these human rights lawyers go out of their way to defend Britain’s enemies then expect me to believe they’re willing to defend Britain’s national interests.

By all means, if you want to defend criminals and terrorists, it’s every persons right to do so. Are they fit for public service? No.

It could have been Innocent,he can say it was and he'd get away with it , but there's an angle that should be examined as there is a trend forming with the attitude to it In the USA,hot topic right now,Musk and the president trying to normalise the abuse of women and children.

He did one a while back that expressed support for the IRA.

I assume MMB will say nobody in Britain knows what that stands for or something.

At last common sense prevails and hopefully sets a precedent

It shows Harriet Harman a Labour MP when this picture was taken, later Deputy Leader of the Labour party and now Baroness Harman actually advocating for the Paedophile Information Exchange (PIE) an organisation that wanted , a group that campaigned for the legalisation of sexual relations with children and sought to lower the age of consent to four, that was in the 1970's.

That is far more outrageous than the picture you posted.

More recent image of Harman

Keep up, it’s something I called out myself.

Frankly, the general public don’t really care. Farage is not popular a politician, but they hate Labour and Tory parties.

Given the amount of lying, backstabbing and self interest, maybe the prize for the winner of the Traitors should be a place in Parliament, and thus end up increasing attention on affairs of state among the general population?

There was a period in the USA, 2006-2012 where more people voted in American Idol than the US presidential election.

Let’s be honest, anyone on this thread is a politics keeno and most of the issues we talk about, the wider public don’t really care. The Farage cameo or Jenrick defection are two such examples.

On this specific episode, I’d seen part the video the morning the story broke and it just didn’t register because ‘who tf is Ian Watkins?’ It was only when my partner told me that’s when the penny dropped.

All the cameo videos are cringe but it was funny because Farage made himself look a foolish. Who seriously says ‘mad lolz?’

I’ve never watched the Traitors in all honesty. The same with X Factor, ‘Strictly’ etc. Then watching Millionaire and the ‘easy’ questions are ‘who won X Factor in this year’ while the ‘hard’ questions are ‘what element has this symbol’…game’s gone

And just to give peeps a head up..

If we are still where we are in the league by game 30 compared to everyone else then there's a good chance we are going up.

Game 30 is the sweet spot.

Its pretty obvious now I have looked at it that he did not know who Ian Watkins was and the prankster admits he said Ian Watkins was deceased and wanted a tribute.

I would have thought if anyone wants to seriously challenge anything it’s his right to front a News Channel evening slot, be paid vast amounts for it and have a free rein on its content.

Well yeah the point of the prank is to show he’ll do anything for a few quid. I don’t see anyone suggesting he’s genuinely supporting a child abuser?

Also, the GB news thing is a huge issue but there’s been lots of criticism of it.

Your defence of Farage seems to essentially be “look at these awful things he’s done”? It’s quite the tactic.

The other thing it demonstrates is that self proclaimed man of the people and protectorate of women and children against rapists and peodophiles doesn’t even know who one of the most recent notorious peodophiles in the country is despite having just been murdered in cold blood making headlines all around the country, even on his own TV channel.

It’s almost as if protecting women and children is a rouse to gain votes. Ferage doesn’t believe in anything his public persona suggests. It’s all a Trojan horse.

As I've said it gets it in the news while innocently while the other guy over in America is hiding away from the question, serving the purpose of the debate which is to make it seem normal,in fact who placed this request if we knew that it would be revealing it may not have been some person with a sick sense of humour but another who has a different agenda?

The first comment was;

"Feels like the man currently in pole position to become the next Prime Minister agreeing to pay tribute to the country’s most notorious paedophile in exchange for cash should be a bigger story."

Well I don't think he needs £50. One thing Reform have done is use all social media avenues and use algorithms to boost its profile. Its obsessed with all channels and believes in maximising SEO to its full.

Its working as you are talking about it

Talking about the leader reading a tribute to one of the most notorious sex offenders in recent times is a sign Reform's strategy is working?!

So the best way to raise Reform's profile is to send a video commemorating one of the most despicable and high profile peadophiles of this country in the last few years?

That's much worse than him doing it for the grift of £50 that he doesn't need.
