In my experience the front line staff are largely excellent. The biggest issue with frontline staff is the number of agency workers so getting any continuity of care is difficult.

But the management is horrifically bad.

Not helped by the fact the management structure keeps being changed as we move to and from ICBs depending which way the wind is blowing.

Yes I have had very good experiences there with nurses and in particular the midwives who are all unbelievable.

My wife is a hospital worker.
There are now many nurses who have left the NHS and joined a medical agency.
Then, due to nurse shortages, the agency sends them to the same ward on twice the salary.
The whole system just pours money out of our pockets.
