He’s gone from being the deputy leader under Corbyn to being the most right-wing Labour leader in history. He’s using phrases like “an island of strangers” to talk about the ‘dangers’ of immigration - he’ll do and say whatever he needs to in order to try to retain power. You can dislike the bloke all you want and you can think he's a shit PM if you like, that's fine.
But to compare the careers of him and Johnson and say they're morally and integrally similar people is just utterly absurd.
It isn't. He was elected leader of the party based on a pack of lies.To say he’s risen to the roles he has by looking at what’s popular and doing it is just bollox
he’ll do and say whatever he needs to in order to try to retain power.
Nowhere have I compared their character; that’s something you’ve made up.Newsflash - that's what leaders do.
And yet he still hasn't cheated and lied his way through life, been sacked in every job he's ever had etc etc. Again, to compare the two's character is ridiculous.
Starmer has contributed to this country, Johnson is a stain on it.
Nowhere have I compared their character; that’s something you’ve made up.
To be clear, I think Starmer is a man of next to no principles but Johnson is a charlatan.Erm, you questioned his integrity and compared it to Johnson's.
That is quite literally comparing their character

Desperate times for the sycophants.PVA says being a liar is OK as that's what leaders must do to retain power

Desperate times for the sycophants.
You went on for years about Johnson’s lies yet now it’s acceptable for Starmer and something that leaders just do.Ironic when you've just claimed you didn't say something that is there in black and white.
Starmer is doing that bad a job I'm surprised Grendel hasn't started referring to him by his full name like he does with Anthony Charles Lynton Blair
I’d suggest that’s because Mr Yaxley Lennon is a bad ming
Yes Stephen Yaxley Lennon is doing a terrible job I'm glad you agree Rob!!
Voting age to be lowered to 16 by next general election
Around 1.5 million 16 and 17-year-olds will be able to vote at the next general election, under government plans to lower the voting age.
Democracy Minister Rushanara Ali tells the BBC the "seismic" change will ensure young people's voices are heard.
She confirms the pledge will be part of a raft of measures introduced through a new Elections Bill.
He's a c**t, I just hate it when people use his name the same with Blair, Johnson etc. We all know who they are, it's just a terrible version of oneupmanship (imo) a bit like I also hate the terms: Gammon, snowflake, woke, Karen etc etc.Yes Stephen Yaxley Lennon is doing a terrible job I'm glad you agree Rob!!
would be absolutely hilarious if Labour changed the rules thinking it will gain them votes then the majority of the votes go to other parties.Loads of assumptions that they’re going to vote Labour but if Corbyn does launch a new party, I could see that and Reform being the two biggest parties for that age group.
I'm not sure. They might be new and fresh, but the young possibly aren't as fed up with what's going on and as disenfranchised with the main offering as adults are. I can see Green being the biggest winners there.Loads of assumptions that they’re going to vote Labour but if Corbyn does launch a new party, I could see that and Reform being the two biggest parties for that age group.
10000% reform will get a lot more voters from that generation than people realise.Loads of assumptions that they’re going to vote Labour but if Corbyn does launch a new party, I could see that and Reform being the two biggest parties for that age group.
Yeah because Starmer is doing a great job.
Ah ok forgot you can't comment on politics if you dont live in that country.Don’t you live in Italy?
Does that exclude me from being able to take part in conversations about it?Don’t you live in Italy?

Hahaha classic. No just informs your input is all.
Hahaha classic.
I'm not sure that's true (possibly your feed lol) in seriousness, maybe the things you engage with. My daughter's main follows (apart from the City of course she's been brought up wellSocial media and Tiktok are making an extremely racist generation
Yes potentially. I agree wiht your last point. I think it does give people a position to say it anonymously which is why I think there appears to be a rise in it. I tried to limit my X account to not see that crap but it seems like its just thrown in your face at the moment!!I'm not sure that's true (possibly your feed lol) in seriousness, maybe the things you engage with. My daughter's main follows (apart from the City of course she's been brought up well) are all Central Cee, Sidemen, Jude Bellingham, Gavi (although that's because she fancies the latter two!).
Her main friendship group is way more diverse than mine in colour, religion and sexuality. In fact brought it home to me when I thought of characteristics that I'd describe someone with, even friends, I'd have said the ginger guy, the fat guy, the black guy, the bald guy, the tall guy etc. I collected her from her best mate's house who is Columbian, at the same time three lads came out, one Asian, one black, one white and that's how I'd have described them if asked, nothing racist just an observation (btw it's not a modern take one an Englishman, Irishman, Scot's man joke). She said something about 'Curran' I said which one is Curran, and she replied 'the one with the grey jumper'. Of course she's right and I'm wrong, but the fact she didn't see it and made that observation, made me question my own sub-conscious.
Appreciate that's a very small sample size and not everyone is the same, but I believe lots more of it in her generation and I think older generations are way more racist, social media etc has just given a platform where posters think they can be anonymous and say what they wouldn't say in the 'real world' and think it has no consequences.
I would do if you’d spent most of your life living in Italy, were born in Italy and had an active interest in Italy and Italian politics, yes.Would you give my opinion as much weight as yours on Italian politics?
