They turned down £2m for Buchanan in the summer (admittedly from their arch rivals Forest) which given their circumstances looks crazy.

Not really, thats now an asset for a new potential purchaser, wouldn't have covered anything towards stopping what was going to happen re administration, once you know you are going under then no point trying to salvage and pay any non essential creditors so as long as they could pay the wages minus the IR then no point selling.

Have followed there demise with interest as they have been close to a new owner 3 times and every time it hasn't happened ,Morris the owner it looks like he's miss managed the club and makes me glad that sisu have spent at a sensible level despite the early years mismanaging our club but looking back the bad press they got rightly so by the way was a learning how to run a club which I think sisu have to a good level ,despite the bad taste remaining in our mouths and never thought I'd say it but living within our means with good football management with ongoing progress is a great way to eradicate the early years mismanagement.

I genuinely think we would drop like a stone if and when Robins leaves. He’s so important. And I include his staff in that. As normally the lot of them leave with the manager.

You'd need someone willing to go along with the same playing philosophy, recruitment strategy, high work ethic and no nonsense approach to handling players. As and when he does go the club's stock will be high enough hopefully to have a decent group to choose from, but they'll only get one shot at it you'd think

Think robins is the exception to the rule as when he returned to the club joy understood robins mentality and they sat down and agreed city were a ongoing project backed up by boddy who bought in to the same project and just wonder will get us back to the premier League as even now there is a lot of negativity on this board which I don't buy into.

Up till now expectations have generally been low which has probably helped a lot. I wonder how both he and the squad will handle pressure of the opposite kind if we actually end up in a challenge at the right end of the table in amongst some big spenders. Won't be dull anyway

Was going to say the first defeat will be interesting and how the team react but that’s already happened and we know how they reacted. The strange or interesting thing for me is that it’s Hyam and fadz and Gyokeres or Moore or Hamer or Allen rather than ohare stepping up. You get my point

The performances have been remarkable. The intensity and the skill.
I’m sure we will lose games but the overall trajectory is so up it’s quite unbelievable

He's in the position of having an outside chance at what would be the biggest underdog success since Blackpool 11 years ago. Get every last bit out of this squad and who knows, but as long as the club keeps growing on his watch you wouldn't want to leave

Some booing of the knee and a little to waggy by us but overall none. Robins deserves so much credit. Bangs on about the fans being important or the most important and the difference they make and over a few seasons the penny has massively clicked. Seriously sitting in the main stand against Cardiff the noise and expectation was phenomenal

The people I sit next to are generally pretty balanced, though those behind were giving Waghorn some stick in each of the games. Being at the ground is so much better in lots of ways, not least noticing all the things you'll miss on camera

Only difference between most of the clubs living beyond their means is the continued investment of the owners to bankroll it, Mel has stopped, SISU continue and have addressed the costs but could still pull the plug, we still have losses carried forward or could make significant payments to themselves like Mel did along with others.

Not sure how many deductions they had but sure Luton were docked something like 24 points the season they fell out of the league.

I'm not sure any of those were genuine or likely to bare fruit.. Seriously think they were just window dressing to keep the wolves out and punishment .
This is why I'm adamant they and the EFL have done Wycombe over.

Derby, by all accounts (no pun intended) seem to have deliberately tried to get around financial regulations and have made things (deliberately) complicated in doing so to drag this out as much as possible, to the rumoured point of ensuring thst they stayed in the Championship for this season. The talk of their other pts deduction not happening due to this has already been mentioned on their forums too....

Not sure of exact details, but there is already a company - CDC or something that is involved in all of this, and has something to do with the ground.
Remember, our administrator sold is back to a different sisu owned company....minus a load of debt....

As much as I feel for Derby fans having been through it ourselves I feel more for the Wycombe fans as I firmly believe that they should have had a points deduction last season over their creative accounting and Wycombe would have stayed up. Not surprised that Wycombe are considering legal action.
