Seen them at Blu dot last year and at Tribal Gathering in 97. Lucky to have seen such genuine legends perform twice.

RIP Florian

Millie who sang My Boy Lollipop has died.
Big hit in the 60's. For those of a certain age will remember going to the pictures on Saturday mornings, and her song was regularly blasting out before the films started.

Wasn't she known as "Little" Millie?

Had albums of theirs on vinyl. 'Autobahn', 'Radioactivity' and 'Ralf und Florian'. Made music way before their time.

Could have been Houch. Did you go to the pictures on Saturday mornings ? Think it was the Gaumont or Odeon ? Great time for us kids, recall the films were usually westerns dodgy acting etc !

Only went to the Gaumont if the Empire was full! I was an ABC Minor! Many cowboy films, plus others, e.g. Sammy, the Way out Seal et al. Plus serialised stuff as well made by the Children's Film Foundation. Later stars of TV and movies made their acting debuts with the CFF, Dennis Waterman being one! God bless the "Tanner Rush"! Kids today don't know what they've missed!

You can be on your deathbed then pick up covid due to no immunity. It is still reported as a covid death

as the government says the only real measure is the increase in total deaths

Great band Bad Company. He was 66 same age as me. Saw them at the NEC some years back and good live.

June Bernicoff - Wife of Leon (who passed away a couple of years ago), from Gogglebox. Very minor 'celeb' admittedly but became a regular for a few years on Friday evening TV.

That was a surprise mainly because I thought he died ages ago.

Another one of that ilk was Roy from Siegfried and Roy. I thought he died ages ago too.

For those not familiar with Dave Greenfields brilliance listen to the long version of walk on by and the climax to Down in the sewer. He was a genius, an innovator and an absolute gent. He made the stranglers a cut above the other bands at the time .

Completely missed this. The Stranglers are brilliant, though I’d (politely) put ‘Get a Grip on Yourself’ as the one that demonstrates how good he was. Kind of like Bach on speed, with some heavy bass for back up. Off to listen to it now...

Saw them a couple of years back at Lunar festival. Was aware of the name but not that familiar with their material. They put on a great show.
