Amazed if the Bill have released him without charge, they’re stood next to him 🤣

They've got more important things to do.

The funnelling of fans with those absolutely ridiculous fences to keep us apart from away fans, is only effective if the stupid pricks managing crowd safety don’t let the away fans just walk round the back of the fences on the road and then charge the home fans.

It was absolutely pathetic crowd control of the away fans to just let them out to meet us head on, charging an overwhelmed police line and throwing missiles whilst Cov stewards hid in the fenced off area, and disgracefully tried to get the Police onto us as we tried to take a fence panel out to get away from the trouble.
Total disgrace.
Was right in the middle of all this around the hill next to the station entrance
The old bill had to resort to truncheons on the Derby herberts who were Intent on a tear up
Haven't seen this sort of thing for years but tbh just walked through it all
But would have been different if I'd had young kids with me as I did on the way in - I'd left them with their mum who was giving them a lift home

They then attempted to smash the cherry tree up there is a video on Instagram page “derby football banter” or something similar then to be met head on with Cov fans who gave them a hiding

It reminded me of the old days of the early 80’s.
Thought the funnelling idea was ridiculous if you just let the away fans turn up at the end of the funnel.

Before the game I saw about 10 Cov lads chase and start on some Derby fans outside the casino. The Derby lads were totally innocent and once the Cov lot had run back they followed up with loads of man hugs and fist pumps.

I don’t know if something today was pre arranged but you could tell early on that it was going to kick off

I don't know if its my age of the fact I now have a kid and another one on the way but I find this all fucking pathetic - on both sides.

Is it any wonder why football has a bad reputation compared to every other sport?

Makes me not want to take my lad in the future. Idiots, the fucking lot of them.

I saw Derby fans giving it the big un not far from there at about 2.25.

Absolutely right
Bloody idiotic and depressing
Old stagers like me see it as playground antics but it terrifies women and kids

A Derby fan also got punched by the ramp to the ticket office too , as him and his mates proudly sang " coventrys a shithole "

This was before the game also

Not nice seeing ball boys/girls in tears over stuff, likewise for the train getting stacked full of arseholes banging on the ceiling. Make them get a replacement bus or something

They were acting like pricks before the game on the trains as well, leaving bottles all over the platforms. Etc.

We walk the other way now as we are parked in the car park that way .

Couple years ago we had to walk through the sunderland trouble and my daughter was in tears

I have to say, from what I saw, and I appreciate this may not be the full picture, which was Derby fans giving it the big un pre match, Derby fans running across the segregation and ripping up city flags and Derby fans gathering on the hill, they came for trouble and by the look of it they got what they deserved.

Unfortunately like racism it’s never going to be totally eradicated from the game, there are always going to be idiots.

Probably the same group I saw by the North stand a few minutes later, dripping in stone island with a strong whiff of chav about them, most people just ignored them as they were giving it the big un and they soon realised most people didn’t give a shit about them.

Got the train just for Forest and today, both times there were several children looking terrified and having to be shielded by parents. Mrs BSB with me both times but still got some unwanted advances just in the 5 minutes it takes to get from Cov to Arena.

Wankers, both sets

I don’t condone the fighting at all - bare that in mind before I say what I think. Also I didn’t go to the game today. But it seems to me that derby fans did countless things to try and start trouble (smash up the cherrytree, block and wait for our fans on the hill etc) but our fans were not blameless at all. But the sheer anount of trouble that i’m hearing about I wouldn’t be suprised if something was planned tbh. But if they did just come for trouble and there was nothing arranged (so basically our fans didn’t try to start trouble) then they got what they deserved, yes. I suppose we’ll never really know the full extent of what happened and the role both sides had in this but on a side note this sort of thing needs to stop because i’ve heard about kids crying in the north stand because of fighting among cov fans and kids almost being hit with bottles in block 14 - but then again it may be a sign that there has been no real trouble at any of our games so far - derby may have been the issue here

In what I saw today Derby fans were definitely the issue, and we’re the instigators.

Well in the ground today I saw 3 kids crying, two of which were caused by the second half performance. Good for their spirits to get broken early doors

Tbh, it seemed to be handbags until the George Curtis flagged started getting torn up.

That seems to be what lit the fuse. And tbf, i cant blame our lot for it.

I left at 85 minutes, not putting my kids in the way of any of that shit, no need for it.

That trouble today in and around the ground will have been recorded and the old bill will study it very closely. pick the trouble makers out and a month or so from now will be bashing doors one Sunday at 6am. Those nicked won’t have a clue remembering what may or may not have happened while the cops are sitting there with all the evidence.
Policing is very difference nowadays cameras record everything.
