A bit of knuckle between young men who are up for it (a la the Block 14 vs away fans nonsense), I can handle and have a wry chuckle at.Could sense a bit of aggro in the crowd today. Kicked off a couple of times in Block 30 between Cov fans as well, squaring up to each other and a few people taking their kids elsewhere
Response from the police when it started booting off was absolutely shocking.
I always find it baffling that most of the time when you can see it start kicking off and Stewards are struggling to control it majority of the time the police are just stood pitch side watching.

I posted before the game that a bunch of them (Derby teenagers) were wondering round Tesco shouting at people in Cov fans. They smashed glass bottles on the ground in front a bloke carrying his child and then started mouthing off at him. They came wanting a scrap.
I may have completely imagined this but Im sure I saw/heard something once that they wait for it to kick off, film people doing naughties then step in and stop it followed by a round of retrospective arrests.
That Sunderland game in 2018 was a disgrace. Was set up for it to kick off and get people nicked

Yeah remember it, kicked off big time in the streets before the gameI was amazed that they let them out, I would have locked them in for half an hour at least and any damage caused their club will be paying for, same with any damage to the flags. I went to Derby when they played at the baseball ground int he early 90’s and there was loads of trouble that night might have been a cup game.
It’s difficult for the police watching footage because they have to work out who was there to cause trouble , who were the innocent bystanders and who got involved because of a) self defence or b) because bottles etc were being thrown etcI couldn't see what was going on on the hill outside the away end while waiting to get picked up but it was clear something was going on. Heard afterwards Derby lot throwing bottles
What I could see was a drone hovering overhead, no doubt filming it all and no doubt a few doors getting knocked over the next few weeks

There was a brief moment where it seemed like it was going to really kick off with the Derby fans before the police got together in numbers.

Didn't look anywhere near enough police for the size of the crowdIf the police did their job and got between the fans early it would have died down.
