Yeah have to get them from the ticket office.
Be interesting to see what the new setup is. The biggest single thing they could do to speed up on the day sales is not let people pick where they sit. Make that an advantage of booking in advance. Have the tickets pre printed and you just get the next one.

Queues will be ridiculous. i can't remember for the life of me what match it was, but there was one last year i went to with my old man. Paid up front and collected in the queue was right round to the roundabout. Luckily they put back kick off that day, but would seem silly to not learn from the mistake

I need a new parking spot, any suggestions? Was even thinking of using the official site but as they jacked the price up massively and it doesn't benefit the club I've gone off that idea.

GK - Burge
RWB - DKE
CB - Leahy
CB - Harries
CB - Finch
LWB - Haynes
DCM - Rose
DCM - Gadzhev
ATT - Sordell
ATT - Lameiras
ST - Tudgay

Mowbray will play a weakened team. Jones, Willis and Ricketts all still not 100% ready IMO, need the week to recover for Shrewsbury game. 2-1 Pompey.

That forward line actually looks better than the one on Saturday.

I think Lameiras and Tudgay are quite underrated for what they are.

They had a set up like this, it was called pay on the gate. If you wanted a specific seat you purposely went to the ticket office on match day.
It was good as the people who weren't bothered about which seat they got went to the turnstile for speed and convenience whilst those who wanted a specific seat queued up a bit longer.

Would have been even better if the amount of money taken came close to matching the number of people going through those turnstiles!

Is it pay on gate or not?
I'm coming at the last minute so I don't want to join the ticket office queue and get in late like they do.

He says knowing full well it isn't pay on the gate so he can bitch and moan.

Was there actually any proof that was happening or was that just the reason gave by people on sky blues talk?

Don't think so, I think it was caused by the fact they ran out of tickets on the turnstiles a few times and they took the money without issuing a ticket - but that doesn't mean the money was being pocketed. They would still have to check the money collected against the turnstile count - so this is a myth.

I believe the no pay on the gate policy is all down to the TM deal. All ticket sales must be processed through the ticketmaster system - so cash on the gate is not allowed.

You only had to watch for a few minutes and see how many middle aged kids and pensioners went through!

Can you pay on the gate. I do mean the turnstile as opposed to queuing for ages at the ticket office.
Thanks in advance.
I tweeted the club and tickets are available at the match day ticket office next to Jimmy

Haven't they said for months about pay on the date?

Ticketmaster must have a way to do it. what do Wasps do?

Its almost as if its like they dont want you to go!

Instead you queue at the ticket office so they can charge you the extra pound. So thats £16.00

Long live ticketmaster!

Hmm ....

TM - Ticketmaster

TM -Tony Mowbray.

Now I think we all know why he didn't go to Rotherham. He's bagging all these £1 admin charges.

Whilst I think they should have a way to pay on the gate (even bloody contactless) they have said it for a while now.

Can see why the Ct have jumped on it to make a massive scoop out of it.

On par with Connor Thomas is say! Surprised he's stuck around this long.

Sure he's a nice kid, just not a footballer

I've said to a few people that if Finch hadn't been on a contract to 2017, TM would have released him in May. I really think h doesn't rate him. Same with Haynes who was farmed out to Cambridge on loan last spring but again has a contract out to 2017. If he's happy to rid himself of the likes of Philips and Martin, no way would Haynes have been retained.

Thing is, Nick, most people don't take notice of things way in advance and would only be looking at a game like this with maybe one or two games to go.

It is ridiculous that people can't pay on the gate. Could lose the club a fair bit of money.

There is a scrap yard over from the Casino, that used to charge £7. Plenty of places on the Foleshill road who offer cheaper parking.
