The pro-trust accounts jumping to his defence are (imo) not helping. I was on there defending him and I'm about as anti-trust as you can get. If the yare there representing themselves and with no agenda, just as a supporter to enjoy an evening listening to players with likeminded CCFC fans, remembering what it used to be like before all the bickering, then I don't see what the harm is. The trust has had its day. Its so divisive and I think should disband, but to deny someone the enjoyment simply because they were once associated with another board and before they were even formed is laughable at best. Non political is an absolute joke. One thing I would say is those on the trust board, whilst I might consistently disagree with their stance and their tactics, they are all City fans giving up their spare time for no real reward and believe they are doing the right thing. Some have egos and don't want to relinquish the power, but others believe for the greater good.

It's such a shame that when things are for once looking positive on the pitch, that we have all of these rival factions and petty disagreements when we surely all want the same end.

I agree.

If Moz wants to just go and have a pint and listen to a Q&A then let him, if he went and started banging on about shite and forcing Trust stuff on everybody then get rid.

The supporters club clearly have a very close relationship with the club, I’m afraid that certain trust members are probably not welcome at an event where club representatives will be

Well yeah, there is that. Mark Robins won't want to be in a room with David Johnson.

You said the Trust wouldn’t organise a protest at a Wasps game, Rob Foster runs the supporters club and says Moz needs to be kicked out because the Trust are organising a protest at a Wasps game.

Ergo, you are claiming he was kicked out unfairly.

Again I’ve not said someone is a liar or anyone was unfairly kicked out.

I’ve doubted a trust protest against Wasps - something they have denied anyway.

On the Moz situation - all I’ve said is I have an understanding why he’s not wanted. Personally I’m not bothered how they run their supporters club so don’t really care whether or not Moz is allowed in.

Right. And I was merely pointing out the flaws in the thinking behind said opinion. And here we are discussing it, on an internet discussion board.

I have asked several members of the Trust Board directly about this supposed protest plan against the owners & club at the next Wasps game. Got a categorical NO such plan at the moment & "fake News" I would assume CJ could back that up

There are no negotiations going on with Wasps. The new sporting CEO at wasps confirmed that they still have contact between wasps & CCFC but the dispute between both sets of owners blocks any form of negotiation. So any protest should there ever be one is not going to damage anything.

It comes as no surprise that the Trust would use the term "Fake news". Jesus wept.

Another comment from rob.

‘not only were he and CJ planning to protest they were tagging the groups Twitter account into it making it look as if the group were backing it’.

Another comment from a different rob.

The quotes are not mine.

That is complete fabrication. Number 1 I’m in Jamaica for two weeks so I would have a hard job protesting on Saturday and number 2 the only interaction I’ve had with the Supporters Club is asking to join and suggesting others do so. At the end of August I received this tweet: . That’s the only thing I can find relating to what Rob has said. Chris/Flemoil, who is a mate but not pro trust at all was simply implying that a peaceful demo to remind Wasps what they’re missing out on could be an idea and tagged in the Trust (wrong account though), Jimmy Hill Way (no longer active), myself, Juggy, Les Reid, Frank and the Supporters Club.

If it is to do with that tweet it’s blatantly obvious it wouldn’t have anything to with protesting against SISU. What’s the point of doing it there if it was? For the record it’s being discussed at tonight’s board meeting to see if it’s doable as a good chunk of the board are away on holiday or at the World Cup.

Edit: I’m not sure if it’s related but both myself and Chris/Flemoil were blocked on Twitter by the CCSC until yesterday. The two things might not be related. Just a thought.

The "RUGBY" world Cup....
Really hope that isn't an indicator of the "board's" preferences....
Do the board need to be about for a protest to take place?
And CJ.... spoken to you about this... nothing apart from a round of applause directed at Wasps so far... yet so much anti SISU...
This is a MASSIVE chance for the trust to regain some credibility and not just direct against the usual/their usual party.
Really hope the trust can get back on track here...
Can the board members put aside their previous relationship with Wasps, and their obvious love of Rugby to plan, PUBLICISE (using CWR/Cov Tel - as was done with marches- but we all know how they have aligned themselves!) and facilitate action at a Wasps game that DOES NOT coincide with a City game at St Andrew's.
Over to you mate.... good luck putting that forward... (from Jamaica!!)

No. Everyone who does anything ccfc4life doesn’t like “hates” CCFC and “loves” everyone else.

Ccfc4life would also like you to know that he considers supporters groups “childish”, unlike him, an adult.

Whoever you blame or agree with, that's a lot of copying and pasting - top digging from the Telegraph. At least they've quoted Torch, just to balance things up. Thought 1 vs 100 was a TV quiz.

There has never been an anti-Wasps protest. The one at the end of last season was about trying to get them to give us a deal.

What’s wrong with that? No different to going to the Cricket World Cup a couple of months ago. If we get to the semis I’m planning on going too. Some of the board love Rugby and have season tickets at CRFC. Is that an issue? With regards to Wasps no one on the board have had any sort of relationship with them aside from meeting their officials like we have done with CCC, SISU, CCFC and the EFL.

So again I ask you - why isn’t there any anti wasps sentiment or protests backed by the trust

Why will the trust not condemn Wasps presence

Why will the trust not back any action to try to force wasps back round the table

And to do this we need the owners of the only stadium to come back around the table.

That isn’t going to happen whilst they hold all the cards.

We need them to feel uncomfortable, we need initiatives backed by the “biggest supporter” to make life hard, not standing there applauding them for kicking us out of the stadium.

The trust know dam well that the point holding this all up is the ridiculous request that we indemnify their losses.

Why no public declaration that this is unacceptable and unworkable?
