Going tomorrow in a group including my two Luton supporting mates.

The only thing keeping me hopeful is last year’s result at Kenilworth Road. We hadn’t won in 5 and Luton were unbeaten in 10. Very similar to the current situation.

Remember dreading the game and coming out 3-0 winners. Still going for a 1-1 draw, can’t get too optimistic now!

Weather is going to be shocking if you believe the forecast

I have absolutely no idea where this misplaced optimism comes from, but I really fancy us for this. I don't think there's much between the teams and if we can get behind the lads from the start I think we can rattle them.

Nothing scientific then, just a belief that we're still a good side with a decent manager. Hope springs eternal! :)

I hope we get into them from the start, put one on James Collins and sshh in his face when we score the winner.

I saw on sky sports about a game between Sheff Utd and WbA where it got abandoned. Some of that would be good, Suffo to come on to stick the nut and get sent off.

It was a bit dodgy, that tackle though.

It is like football porn! It couldn't have sat any better for a player intent on going through another player.

He should have got up and told the ref he got the ball

Think we will get a 1-1 draw out of this one.

Team I would go with following but doubt it will happen

Burge GK
Sterling RB
Brown LB
Davies CB
Willis CB
Doyle CM
Kelly CM
Chaplin LW
Thomas RW
JCH ST
Bakayoko ST

Subs: O'Brien, Hyam, Grimmer, Ogogo, Bayliss, Shipley, Hiwula,

I would try Thomas down the middle. His pace would scare centre halves. Perhaps Chaplin on one wing.
Going for the draw today but hoping for a good win to set us up for the Christmas and New Year fixtures

Or play Hiwula centrally adding extra pace to the side. We’re not far off a decent side, bit more composure and luck in front of goal and we’re good value more often than not.

Is Mason still injured?

Really hoping he comes good, but Brown looks weak, especially on the ball.

As I said before, attack and we’ll win.

Presumably Bakayoko must be injured, not even in the squad and the bench doesn't look very strong.

Hopefully we play 442 with Hiwula up alongside or slightly deeper behind JCH in a 4411.

I fear it’s a 451 tho I might still work with Shipley offering the cover for Hiwula, saying that it could be a 4141 with Kelly sitting deeper and Shipley and Bayliss being a advanced central pair. All of which don’t use Hiwula to his best still and leaves JCH isolated.

How ironic is it for a Chaplin to come get the winner off the bench?

Glad CC has been given a rest and he’s giving Kelly/Bayliss another go. I’m also hoping Hiwula is given a chance up front.

However, I think it’ll be a 4-3-3/4-5-1, which doesn’t inspire me, especially if JCH is the focal point and Hiwula is stuck out wide. Let’s hope this is his one in four games where he turns up.

Where Bakayoko?

2 early goals will settle the nerves a fraction. Usually early half chances fall for Hiwula before he fades out of games. Set pieces could be where its won today hopefully a big game for Tom Davies to open his account
