Bloke in on loan for less than 2 days made captain.

Don't agree with that. Does not say much about the future of Willis either.

Doesn’t look great on paper. That left side is very weak.

We have said for a few weeks ' good starting line up' so with this shit looking one maybe we will do better and may even score a goal

Work that one out - numerous different options; 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, 4-4-2?

Either way, credit to MR for dropping Chaplin, he isn’t completely blinded. Time for the others to take their chance.

I think it’ll be:

Burge
Sterling Willis Hyam McCallum
Meyler Shipley
Thomas Westbrooke Bright
Hiwula

Or

Burge
Sterling Willis Hyam McCallum
Thomas Meyler Westbrooke Shipley
Hiwula Bright

Shipley in to support McCallum?

Again, it’s a strong team and a bench that can change things.

To be fair those 2 are the only ones in that side old enough to have pubes, and Willis shaves his off. So it was kind of logical.

Willis seemed to be better when he wasn't Captain any more

Huh what on Earth are people whinging about!!!! Is it Shipley? We can’t keep losing he’s changed things for a response from the team. Willis back in which is great. Chaplin dropped Bayliss by back on the bench

2-0 win for city.

The lack of firepower upfront is very concerning, you wouldn’t think we’d spent 1million on strikers ffs

I don’t think it’s shit. Shipley is the weak link as he doesn’t add much offensively, but he’s good positionally. And he’s probably in to cover McCallum.

I assume Bayliss isn’t fully fit hence not starting and nor is Mason.

He’s dropped Chaplin which we all wanted, Willis is back, Sterling and Thomas both start, Meyler is straight in and Westbrooke may be inexperienced but he was a stand out last week.

Willis is no leader. He's a great defender but he barely organises the back 4, nevermind inspires the whole team. Plus he's refused to sign his contract.

Take the sentiment out of it, why should he? He’s poorer when Captain, he’s quiet on the pitch and not a natural leader.

Meyler seems strange, but realistically who else could it be?

Big mates with Doyle though, so maybe something in it.

Maybe Doyle has told Sheff this

That's Sheff not happy.

Was quite cutting to be honest.

Garry McSheffrey has just lambasted Mark Robins on CWR for letting Michael Doyle go.

I think it’s extremely plausible that Doyle wanted to play and robins couldn’t find him a place so let him leave for a fresh challenge and offer to come back as coach
