Loads of good stats around this one:
They are better on the road than at home - most of their recent dip in form has been down to their home matches (defeated by Accrington and Sunderland and a draw against the Gills after conceding twice early on).

Their 2 defeats away from home have both been 1-0s against Burton and Accrington and in their 4 victories and a draw they have scored at least 3 goals.

Doncaster have conceded in their last 10 matches and in all 7 away games this season
Doncaster have scored in 5 of those 7 away matches and are averaging 2 goals per game away from home.

10 of Doncaster's 14 away goals have been scored in the second half and like Southend, they are strong in the first 15 minutes after halftime:

The other interesting stat is that they are the dirtiest team in the league and have now had 6 players suspended at some point this season. On the other hand we are top of the fair play league.

It's going to be a battle today, hopefully we won't get bullied out of it.

Happy at the way we've ground out results. We don't have to be entertainers every game. But Donny are a good team so I would expect it to be close. I want a win but I can't help thinking this will be a draw or close defeat.

I stand corrected. Some time to be a fan. Be before me. Anyone remember it? Surely a few can remember the win at VP?

My first match was Middlesboro 28th Dec 1996 at HR, won 3-0. Suddenly makes sense looking back how I got hooked.

That next season we beat Spurs 4-0 and both Chelsea and Man U 3-2 at home, won 7 in a row and only lost twice in the league after new year!

Guessing it’s too late to sue for false advertising?

Fairly sure the defeat against Chelsea was our only loss in over 20 games

That was the day Strachan tried to shoe horn Moldovan in alongside Dublin and Huckerby.

Unchanged team, high scoring game.

Definitely capable of winning but I've got a horrible feeling today will be the day Davies gets himself sent off.

Bit chilly out and we don't like that much either.

But I'll be positive - Davies won't get sent off and we'll win 3-2

If the players don't get carried away and think they just need to turn up to win, we can make it 5 wins. Earn the right to play and we'll be ok. 2-1 win.

Jordan Willis latest
The Sky Blues head into today’s game not expecting to have Jordan Willis for a second game running.

The centre-half sat out Tuesday night’s win at Bradford with a knee injury and it doesn’t look like he’ll be fit for this afternoon’s match against seventh placed Doncaster Rovers.

“He’s got a knee problem so he has missed out and we miss him, there are no two ways about it,” said manager Mark Robins.

“We have given him a breather but hopefully he will be OK in the next week or two.

“He’s had some sort of niggle for a while and he felt it and couldn’t take part on Tuesday. That was a disappointment.”
