Regis and Dublin were excellent at doing just this!

Especially Regis, but he was never prolific on the goals front for us:

5, 5, 12, 10, 6, 4, 4..... And he always played at least 31 games a season for us. Like I said you have a great skill and trade off on another. Regis was one of my favourite players for team play and build up play, but he wasn't a regular goal scorer.

Fans might like to throw people on the scrap heap, but the club has a duty of care to an employee.

Again makes sense no issues with that as you say it would be silly not to... But doesn't explain Varney being ahead of Wilson unless it's an injury or sale
