Shipley cross from a free kick Biamou won was an easy claim for the keeper

Good block by Davies, felt that one, play goes on as he gets back to his feet, cross comes in and is easily headed home

Possibly his man unmarked?

1-0 Derby

Davies should of stayed down, ref would probably have stopped the game. From the replay it looked like Grimmers man.

Good work down the left sees the Derby keeper easily claim a Brown cross

Andreu showing some neat touches playing Brown in but wasted cross going straight to the keeper

Andreu reaches well to win a ball and put it into Biamou’s path, but chance is scuppered as the keeper smothers the ball

Headed effort goes over for Derby after their man has far too much time to control a long cross field pass before sending it into the box

Almost a disaster at the back for us, let off after the final shot goes wide

Davies gives the ball away poorly and O’Brien and Hyam, I think, come for the same ball, both missing it

It's called realism. We scraped promotion from the bottom division last season, have hardly changed the squad, with key members of that squad having barely had a pre-season due to injury, and on top of that we've sold our only goal threat and not replaced him. Yet the expectation on here and on social media is that we'll challenge? This isn't an easy league to get out of as we know from our five previous seasons in it, and preparation is key and so far our preparation has been poor. I know Robin's aim is to get promoted again this season, he's said it multiple times, so that's the standard I'll hold him too and so far I've not been overly impressed.

What a load of drivel...how can you have your little mind made up before even a ball's been kicked competitively? He's bought in nigh on 10 players plus,as someone's mentioned Jones & Andreu to come back to the squad too
Ok we've lost McNulty, but Robins is no Mowbray & will get it right without panic buying any old striker,at the end of the day,it's only 1 player we've lost
Cheer up & get a grip ffs

HT 1-0 Derby

Not much to man about but not much to write home about either

Not much down our right, Andreu is wasted out wide

Similar on the left as I’ve still not seen anything from Brown that’s made me think ‘we’re onto a good’un here with him’ but I can’t write off a player in Pre season (learnt my lesson after Doyle )

Westbrooke been quite anonymous. Biamou and Ponti working hard up top but not sure they have the right spark to play alongside one another

I do find him incredibly negative. Charlie says it's realism, but it's not is it. It's incredibly negative and downbeat thinking. Already dismissing players as development. What was Tom Bayliss last season? Dominic Hyam? How key were those to us in the end?

Lets just back the team and see what these new players can do before all the gnashing and wailing.
