And still people moaning about the home WIN against Watford  Absolutely incredible stuff this forum at times.

My favourite was yesterday when it said we were top of the league but we weren't a "credible" top.of the league team.

Desperate stuff.

Which makes it even stranger when Lampard doesn’t start him over wright who looks like he’s never going to score again, put Simms in and leave him in for a few games but he never does, must have a good reason ?
Can't think what it is Quinn. Certainly not on Simms. Didn't pick him for one minute in play off semi finals. Perhaps looks too layed back, but so does Wright. All that matters is he scores ( recently anyway), on a regular basis.

Simms has scored 3 in his last 4 starts
If we are playing shit both strikers offer next to nothing’. If we’re playing alright Simms is the better choice. He causes more headaches for the defenders. Yes things bounce off him, but his mere presence gives more room for others. Still not convinced Haji is a CF , and his form this season since October has been just puzzling. Frank has put all of faith in him. When he comes back from injury, it’s like Simms has one quiet game and Haji is back in.. Haji may have several poor games but he’ll still start. Robins it seems got way more out of Haji than Frank has.

Strange one, problem is with both of them I think we’ve seen the best of them, and it’s never really been good enough, still think Asante is the difference and We‘ll be ok once he’s back,

All season our fine home record has been achieved with Kitch & Thomas.
I can't see how Frank can now leave out Lati & Woolf having made the massive call v Oxford.
Arguably the most decisive selection move of this season to date.

So the pressure is well & truly on the new pairing.
Wish them well.

Can't see why Esse starts over Saka.
Saka has been effective coming off the bench going forward and is more disciplined. Esse may be able to unlock their defence when things are cagey early on. Of course he may also do something stupid that leads to them scoring.

I'd rather have a fresh Sakamoto who can run at tired legs but also willing to track back in a frantic ending than Esse, who seems to think it's someone else's job.

Don’t think some realise how important he is for us, just as good off the left ,upfront and in the 10, gives us options,he was brilliant for us before he got injured,
People would have offered to drive him if he was sold last summer, a run of 10 matches where he played well is welcome but at the moment it was nothing more than a hot streak for him until he shows the consistency to sustain that for a full season.

Esse is a goal threat and a bit less predictable. Can't remember the last good game Saka had where he started. He's better coming on as an impact sub.
Esse doesn't take players on, in the wing position, not a natural winger whatsoever. Going to be a great player, no doubt, but we don't need those loose flicks, lose the ball on the wing, against Boro. No probs, if he starts at 10. Saka tracks back better, as well

no disrespect but some of our fans wanted to drive half this team anywhere in the summer, he was one of the main reasons we were playing like we were, he played the first 17 games 10 goals and 3 assists, if that’s not consistent ? We’re missing him it’s obvious

You have to put up with those things with players like esse, he’s class, cant remember the game but the little flick through for wright was brilliant, wright didn’t expect it, should start every game on the right ,

While we'll obviousky go for the win the same as yourselves, which is what we'd hope for, I'd be satisfied with a draw personally.

You're at home, we have easier games coming up. Whilst it wouldn't keep the winning run going it would still be an unbeaten run maintained and it would signal the end of a Hoodoo which for us would be massive. We'd actually not fear Bristol City later on off the back of it too.

Plus 4 points from yourselves and the Blades, both away, with us having 8 Homes and 6 aways to follow would stand us in good stead.

At the moment, we can't. Like I say, no way is this guy a natural winger, Saka is..For me Esse is a 10, or comes on later at 10.

Watch those Leicester highlights, can do anything could probably even play centre forward, but they’re the type of players you want, esse and Asante can play anywhere across the front 3 and be good in all of them, we’ve got some proper quality just need to get it firing again

I don't need to Quinn, I have watched him on the wing..The last thing we need at the moment, is fancy flicks on the wing, losing the ball.. Boro would kill us. Saka and Milan. No probs if he starts at 10.

think we’ll just have the edge, we Just seem to find an extra gear against mboro, we need to win this more than you do ,not to go top but just to remind everyone how good we actually are, Lampards been a tactical genius telling all our players to take it easy for the last 2 months, time to go again, should be another cracker

if EMC starts it’ll be Esse on the right, it’s what we got him for, perfect game for him tomorrow against a good side, he’ll love it,
