I predict a workman like performance in the first half but lose a cheap goal then we concede another 2 or 3 in the second half as we try and go for a goal

So you see a change in tactics. We are not going to play for a draw or 0-1 loss as we have done all season

I'm going for a 2-1 win for Cov. I just feel we're going to get Leicester at home in the next round!

We will probably make 11 changes to our team & rumour has it will be playing our club captain Bruno a right back in midfield. Its arrogance like that that can come back and bite you on the arse. I think making that many changes will mean that we will be a bit disjointed to begin with especially if you come & have a go.If you come & sit back & try to nick a goal later in the game I think we will win comfortably.Im hoping you create a really good atmosphere because so far this season I have been really disappointed with how little noise premier league teams make.
Good luck tomorrow but not too much.

I remember going to the goldstone ground years and years ago when you were promoted to the old first division. Peter Ward was your hero then. Stood on a big open terrace at side of ground, in the corner by the home end. Lovely sunny day start of season. Went following year in same place when it was lashing down and coppers made any city fans wearing DMs take them off and stand on wet terrace in their socks!
Yes a good player although our all time favorite is Peter Ward, with Bobby Zamora right up there.
Tommy Hutchinson rings a bell and Machin.

I think this is where our particular 'romance' with the competition will come to an abrupt end. A kind of decree absolute - I predict we'll ship four or five goals (maybe nicking one ourselves)
This will leave us to continue our erratic affair with league pursuits which as we all know have been on the rocks the best part of this year already.
Come the end of March we'll be unshaven, unkempt and propping up a bar somewhere and minus the CD collection.

Whilst I hope your negativity about today’s match comes to fruit.I would like to point out that last season we were knocked out of the F.A cup by a non league team Lincoln City.Yes they were at home yes they were top of the league & yes we fielded a weakened team. They also followed beating us by beating Burnley at Turf moor no mean feat.Ive been a Brighton fan for too long to start counting our chickens.

That is a Brighton radio station and I find the headline disrespectful and it could come back to bite them. I believe it was not many years ago that Coventry were one of the longest serving clubs in the top flight. I am old enough to remember the Coventry of old.
Only Arsenal, Everton & Liverpool had longer streaks

Leaving for the long trip to Brighton in half an hour, if the team battles and give there all I will be happy.

Safe journey to all who are going

The calm before the storm. It’s nice and peaceful outside but I’m preparing for the Coventry & Warwickshire takeover. You kids play nice.

Yes, echoed. Have a good day everyone travelling.
I'll be watching a real mans game today instead - One that involves a lot of grunting, huffing and puffing, slow movement and the ball regularly finding touch.
Oh, the similarity.

Two hours away from Brighton - despite the fact I know we’re going to lose and probably show our tactical ineptness once again, I can’t help but be a little excited for the away day.

A shock could happen - 1-2.

You've just succinctly described my well honed sex technique.

.

This is my current state of mind. If we haven't conceded in the first 20 mins though, that annoying thing called hope will appear in my brain!

So what are we thinking for summation on here at 5pm today?

1-0 - Fantastic, well done Robins.

2-0
3-0 Decent effort, heads held high

4-0
5-0 Tried our best, battled all the way

6-0
7-0 Robins out

I am half expecting that even just in losing there will be calls into the post match phone in saying Robins has to go, such is the daftness of football fans.

There's something about a match day that gives you hope, this should be a tonking given our recent form but "its a funny old game saint" and i think we can sneak it. 1-0 to city and Brighton to all report to the physio with stiff necks following our aerial bombardment. Houghton to ask Robins how much for Bayliss as they shake hands

Absolutely. Up until this am thought we would get a thumping. But now we are on the coach and heading south im feeling more optimistic. Hope springs eternal and a sneaky 1-0. PUSB
