How many people with mental health issues are going to suffer from being stuck in?

Only if they get stuck in early doors.

What if they catch it at work, the supermarket or the bus? What if they get it from running for toilet roll.

If they are then going into an on people's home or visiting vulnerable people, then I can understand it.

I'll still be playing football on Friday and going to the pub (if they are open). I won't be seeing any old or vulnerable people.

I think the argument is while you're out you could get it from someone you're out with. You could then later pass it on to someone else in a social interaction who WILL have to see an old/vulnerable person. So while you've not directly passed it onto the vulnerable person you are a link in the chain to someone catching it.

As I said before we need a mix of those willing to go out now and those that will avoid contact etc to stagger the infections. Like in the evolution of humans, if they'd all been afraid and not ventured out we'd still be in caves scared of fire. But if they were all adventurous we'd have probably all been killed by wild animals etc. You need the two for balance.

It's a risk largely letting people effectively choose themselves and hoping the mix of each will be quite even in society, but if you try and enforce something you run the risk of public disorder/disruption. It will sadly also be in the back of their mind what the political impact of their decisions would be, especially as a party that are strong exponents of freedom of choice.

All joking aside this is really getting to me all this. Should probably go in the ‘are you happy’ thread but fuck it.

I could also get it from my daughter going to school and being around hundreds of other kids and staff who will then be going home to their families. I could pass it so somebody when I am scrapping with an OAP over some Ravioli. People can get it on the school bus, people can pass it around on a bus to work or in a big office.

If the law changes and you HAVE to stay in then it's a different story but people shouldn't give up their lives just yet.

I can see it really getting to people mentally. No gyms or exercise, no socialising etc.

It won't be long until there are groups of vigilantes witch-hunting everybody who leaves their house.

I’ve got the symptoms right now which yesterday said isolate for 7 days but it’s all vague as fuck. I get a cough of some sort every couple of months now I’m not sure what the fuck to do, got a slight fever too. But weirdly I’m much better than yesterday already. Plus the wife isn’t taking it seriously and rolled her eyes at me. Only positive is I can work from home and I’ve got 4 crates in.

Literally not even arsed about the league anymore either to be honest. Means nothing.

If you think too much about it you will end up coughing more. I was terrible the other day the more I thought about coughing.

I’m not normally like this but this is way different to anything I’ve ever experienced. The people not taking it seriously are seriously pissing me off as well.

Couple of hour flight to Spain.

If he's just got back, he'd gone before the games were called off. So there's a chance he missed Ipswich away and would have missed the Shrewsbury game.

Yes Nick you could get it from all of those scenarios.

But again, the examples you give are school, work and food shopping. Those things are much more important than gigs and going to the pub.

It's really not rocket science mate and I can't understand how you're not getting it!!

It’s much more important to go to shopping - even if you are as likely to catch the illness as in an outdoor sports arena - you at least are a humorous distraction in these troubled times. No wonder project fear has a dream with you

You don't think it's more important to go food shopping than go to a gig? Right.

The WHO and just about every country on earth have advised banning large public gatherings.

Will you be dismissing it as project fear when an elderly relative of yours is in intensive care with it?

Typical selfish ignorant attitude from a Boris loving Tory lickspittle.

This is deranged thinking - if you are in Sainsbury’s and you are in a queue with an elderly person you have murdered them if you carry it? You are out of control. I assume if you work with someone who has an elderly relative you will lock yourself down just in case?

The elderly and vulnerable needed to be socially distanced yesterday. Very few others are at genuine risk and that doesn’t mean we leave such people on their own but take the full precautions when we visit. It also means we have a society to return to when this ends, and it will end.

My goodness, you really don't get it do you.

It's not difficult, though it seems to be for you. The idea is you reduce or limit social contact. That means you can still go to work, school, the supermarket etc if you need to. But it means going to the pub, a gig, a football match etc are not good ideas. Got it?

Italy have closed supermarkets and oddly you can catch the virus at work and pubs can be less in terms of social distancing than a crowded massive Tesco’s - you really are a moron

Have cases in Nottingham surged up any more than other places as a consequence of a football game being held?

Even your glorious leader Boris and that idiot on the other side of the pond are suggesting social distancing now. You and Nick seem to be the only ones against it.
