As someone else pointed out, we are all being told to work from home “if we can” not “if it’s convenient and most effective and part of our tradition”.

Yet again one rule for the Tories, one for the plebs.

I'm mocking you.

You called him that and yes you really are that immature.

No comments on him being asleep at the wheel? No comments on the fact that we have been lied to as we have been told that Boris Ladd was leading everything?

Nope just you getting upset because I used a phrase you brought to the table.

So 3 months and 60,000 deaths later Boris finally decides to get off his fat lazy arse and do something.

Aren't we lucky to have such strong leadership.

What a joke.

The idea of Biden appeals more to people than the man himself. He is actually to all intents and purposes a Republican who can’t speak properly even off an auto cue, facing sexual assault allegations and a former advocate of segregation and slashing the welfare state.

He only won the nomination because others did it for him. If he wins against Trump it won’t be because of anything he’s done

So who's been in control of it up to now?

Edit - that's a reference to the article not the Boris lad comment

Tell you what. I saw a speech of his about apartheid from 1986 and he was bloody good. So he obviously had “it” at one point.

He was very good even in 2012 when he dismantled Paul Ryan. But now he is in rapid and steep cognitive decline and struggles even when he’s told what to say. When he goes unscripted it’s pathetic

Watching ministers squirm like it's the thick of it to try and cover the mendacious chat of Hancock.
Shambolic.
Laughing stock outside of our own shores and rightly so .
Inadequate !!
Interesting take out from a Sky interview this morning .
Not a large sample by any means .
It seems 25% of those signing up for the Vaccine trials are not suitable as they have antibodies to the infection .
Obviously we do know there are a percentage who are asymptomatic.

Last time out at PMQs Boris the Bluffer promised a 'world beating' system up and running by June 1st.

Another lie by Johnson.

Starmer will have some fun with him today.

Leaked report reveals 1,749 people out of 4,456 contacted by track and trace

Well that article says different.

And if he was, then you must accept that all of this (the death toll, the lack of testing & PPE, the care home situation) is on Boris.

I see the plans for opening pubs look suspiciously like Tory donor and Brexit Tramp Tim Martins existing system at Wetherspoons. Order by app only. How many non-Wetherspoons pubs have apps and table service ready to go?

You're the deluded one you dumb fuck.

You are presented with evidence from a Boris supporting right wing paper and you just call people deluded.

Read the fucking article and stop posting inane bollocks like pubs ready to poor 25 million pints which ignores the likelihood of most pubs not being able to reopen if plans to make pubs app only are brought forward.

Will provide a lot of pressure onto the NHS as well. Social distancing not being adhered to anywhere near as much so add alcohol into the mix and you've going to have huge amounts of people just not giving a fuck.

Far too many won't be able to control themselves, drink way too much and A&E's will be packed with alcohol related cases then a couple of weeks after likely to be taking in a new raft of covid patients.

But hey, they all clapped for the NHS so it's fine.....

Not for thousands who have died of Covid-19 at the hands of this government. It's tragic. Now Johnson tries to shed responsibility by announcing he's going to take control. What a fucking cowardly move. Johnson explores new depths of cowardice I didn't think existed. The fridge inside a fridge inside a fridge. If this is your leader I worry for you.

What a shock- UK & Sweden now recording more deaths than the rest of Europe combined, and Sweden's top epidemiologist admits that their approach was wrong. Nobody here will make the same admission, they'd rather lie about figures and tell us all how well we're doing. I'd say its pretty much beyond doubt now that the plan never changed from herd immunity, partly because if it wasn't then we have the most inept government of all time who have been more stupid and wrong than even I could credit them with. In fact if you want to judge their strategy, you probably have to ask that question in terms of whether herd immunity has been a success, because thats what they've tried to do. Follow that and they don't seem so stupid... just terribly & horribly wrong, and directly responsible for thousands of needless deaths now that we've seen that herd immunity was wrong.

Man Behind Sweden’s Controversial Virus Strategy Admits Mistakes

Ring any bells? “For months, critics have been consistently dismissed. Sweden has done everything right, the rest of the world has done it wrong. And now, suddenly, this,” Akesson said.
