I'm assuming the government's covid vaccine passports will be extended to include 12-15 year olds once they've overruled the scientists ?

So many issues inbound ..

I think it was more to do with the fact the children aren't vaccinated probably triggered that study

Don’t think 12 year olds can go abroad or to nightclubs on their own anyway.

No , but they can go to football stadia , entertainment venues too

And you're assuming because the adults have been vaccinated they'd all be willing to vaccinate their 12 year olds .. I think you'd be surprised
After all , the experts are saying be cautious, hardly going to get parents pushing their kids through the doors is it , and they certainly won't leave it up to a wank like Boris to decide

It's a no from me

My daughters 12 , il make the decision and it won't be one you will agree with

Polling suggests a clear majority of parents would support it:

https://www.ipsos.com/ipsos-mori/en-uk/3-4-britons-support-offering-children-vaccine

But as with anything it should be your choice, I’ve never said otherwise despite what you think, I just think government and business can also make requirements because they have freedom too and losing access to that stuff will factor into your decision for you and your children as well as health and risks.

There's loads of polls on this some ranging from 3 in 4 to 58% .

That was ofcourse before the experts which we are told to believe and rightly so, are saying they don't recommend (changed to be cautious overnight ) kids 12-15 be vaccinated .

Businesses will ofcourse suffer anyway through a covid vaccine passport let's hope the government compensate them

BTW CCFC will be one of them that do , I know of several who will just stop going as they won't get a jab , and the demographic which we want to target to attend are the second lowest in the country for vaccine uptake

Furthermore, if my daughter has no vaccine , will they stop her going ? Then ofcourse I don't go or my dad and we want a refund .. life is that simple

As I said , issues inbound

Fair enough.
What annoys me is cunts ignoring evidence from certain agencies about adult vaccination who are now using those same agencies to validate not getting their kids jabbed.

You can't have it both ways bt I totally understand your decision.

I'm not being awkward , I'd never forgive myself if I made a decision for her and it went wrong .. not doing it , sorry.

The risk to her is so small she's more likely to be struck by lightning more than once I'm sure .

This whole thing is going to get messy

That’s a business decision for CCFC to make I’d hope. The proposals I’ve seen are only PL games and over 20k so for the vast majority of City games wouldn’t be mandatory. But if they are they are. And I hope people who are refusing to get the vaccine because they read some nonsense on Facebook reconsider when faced with the prospect of missing out on big games.

I'm specifically talking about kids now tbh , I'm listening to the expert and he hasn't really sounded very comfortable with it at all ..

That I have a problem with

Both choices present very small risks. I get where you’re coming from because psychologically doing nothing doesn’t feel like an action but doing something does but this isn’t a risk vs no risk situation, it’s risk vs risk with a minuscule edge one way assuming your kid has no underlying conditions.

I agree and hope that of the evidence shows the risk isn’t worth it that’ll be government advice too. Like it was with AZ.

Believe me I don't wish to argue , and if I'm coming across that way then I apologise ..

I can't let her have this vaccine at the moment .. maybe in year or so when there's more concrete data

I get it. I haven’t looked at the data enough to decide myself yet TBH. It’s more the vaccine passport/freedom thing I think we disagree on.

From full fact 397 kids between 12-17 developed myocarditis .. from 8.9 million jabs .

That's 1 in 22,418

the problem with the data is it includes 16 and 17 year olds

I think with children it should be age specific .

Separated every year to see the potential risk from 12 -15 .

It's a really shitty choice for parents with kids in that age range to have to make, consolation is that either way the chances of anything bad happening are very small.

It is a shit one , but I'm evidence that even some vaccinated parents are going to snub the vaccine for their kids .

Your child won’t get ill with COVID in all probability. They will almost certainly get the flu or a cold which will take them off school, no flu jab for them though
