A good reason why I wanted the cup final or promotion. He deserved to see us get to those levels for all the shite he had commentated on. By the end he was just as big a fan as usual.We’ve lost something real here with Clive leaving. He wasn’t perfect and certainly was not good at questions to the manager. But he was an informed commentator who had a real affinity for our team - and it showed in the passion. Iconic moments on the mic. And he was there for every step on our 20 year journey. We need him back - it’s not the same. It’s a joke if anyone believes the replacements are a step up.
Rob Gurney's a better commentator than pundit andId often opt to listen rather than watch on an unreliable stream but cant see myself doing that anymore.
