Surely you've got to be looking to change some of the outfield players that started Saturday. So job, Maddison and Kent will start for me.

No mention of lorentzen has to be bad news

Team for me though doubt TM will go for it!

RCC GK

Subs: Burge, Haynes, Bigi, Cole. Kent, Tudgay, Armstrong

Yes but I think Arma ahead of lamerires. We could see Tudguy or Fortune start to give support to Arma but pace is what will kill them and so probably my first suggestion!

Based on impressions from listening in all season ( although not as good as being there of course) here is my team selection:-

Jim O`Brien........... Ok you can fill in the rest !

fleck in place of bigi maddison in place of Cole Job in place of lamires I would also like to change Phillips as he a weak link in my opinion. Should have to much pace going forward for them Tm needs to go attack minded against a wounded team.

I wouldn't drop armstrong yet. Hes making the runs but the supply isn't there. If mowbray fancies a change I'd go for murphy up front to keep the pace in the side. I'd be tempted to keep maddison on the bench again. He's such a good player that I think we should ease him in as much as possible.

Well Marty I put Murphy up top - has worked well in past his season benched Armstrong and had JOB, Maddison & Lameiras in
behind........I would like Tudguy to get a chance though.....will be interesting to see what TM goes for.

I'd try Tudgay just behind Armstrong and Maddison on the bench to start.

Mowbray will rotate today as much as he can without significantly weakening team. Cole, Lamieras and Murphy will be on the bench as they played Saturday and Kent, JOB and Maddison will start imo.

Yep, Mowbray pretty much said this in his interview. I've got a horrible feeling MAF will start ahead of Armstrong today.

Shouldn't be a horrible feeling Stu. Just put your trust in our manager.

Its possible, Mowbray knows Armstrong is the stand out goalscorer in the squad which is why he hasn't really been rotated.

However its possible he thinks this is one game too many for Armstrong and needs a rest, he's played a lot of football this season as he's barely missed a game for us and he has played a lot youth international fixtures as they have 2 or 3 fixtures in each break.

I think he'll rest Murphy, but if Armstrong was to be rested, then Murphy down the middle in a more advanced position might just provide an answer.

Armstrong on the bench.

What would our opponents want us to do. Drop Armstrong? For that reason he starts for me!

It depends if they have a solid plan to play against him, if they have planned all week to deal with Armstrong and somebody else plays they will be stuffed!

I'd say give AA a rest, stick Murphy in his position and tell him to destroy the defence like he did against Gillingham.

Armstrong's looking jaded to me, so maybe give the boy a rest before this goal drought affects his confidence.

Getting busier in Chesterfield. Very obvious police presence, not sure what they are expecting. It's going to be a good day!

I'm hoping that both JOB, Fleck & Mads start. Armstrong needs a rest but Murphy has to start if Arms doesn't.

My scoreline prediction depends on the line-up; 2-1 or 2-0 to City, I feel.

Close game I reckon. Have a feeling they might try and park the bus and grind out a point. Hopefully we'll break them down at some point and grab a 1-0.

What about playing murphy and Armstrong up front.. pace to burn maddison threading balls thro' along with lameiras and kent i would think that should be enough to make most defences shit themselves
