Good result for them against their old boss, weird move from him really to go to Bristol City
Bristol City are a bit like Stoke. Supportive chairman, looks a good chance to build something, but also something obv wrong behind the scenes as so many managers can't fail so often.

For a city of that size you'd expect them to have had more success.

Just watched the interview the Watford manager did (something the club know is going to happen) after their game and he was having a problem talking about the game in English,It wasn't till the last question did he get any help if he has the same problem when dealing with players in training no wonder they are in the bottom half of the table

That and the fact that the players know he probably won't be there in a few months, so they don't have to pay too much attention to whatever he does manage to say to them.

Fancy you to struggle today, the Brummies are quietly putting some decent results together and have a pretty formidable home record

Hope you annihilate them though

Surprisingly perhaps, I don't feel too much concern about today, as barmy as that may sound.

Though with 1 loss in 7 we are due another one and Birmingham have a strong first 11. Plus of course our usual CB injury crisis is biting, as it has been in one way or another since the season started (Mind speaking of CBs, Fry will be injured for them if his record from us carries on as per) means Ayling is getting a charmed life staying in the heart of our defence this season which his performances really don't warrant.

The atmosphere has always been really shit every time I've been there

Stoke in solid form now

Lincoln on a good run so far. Impressive given the players they've got. A lot of fight in them. Our lads have a lot to learn from them.

And there you have it, the usual "Half of Hellball/Half of FuckingHellBall" as one of your posters succinctly put it. With the first half being our decent one, the second being the latter. And yep, Ayling continuing being involved in that defence goes a long way to seeing why.

But had no doubt we'd get something from the game though, even if we instead decided to play like complete pudding throughout the 90, which doesn't really happen. The Power of HOODOO, see?😁 Glad we lost you boys to the Prem and kept Brum in it, they haven't beaten us for years👍

Still we'll take those first 8 games and we're in a good position going into the international break. Hopefully 3 weeks will be long enough to get our superior CBs with knocks and fitness issues up to full speed, so we can bench Ayling for good.

Saints 'not wanting to be seen as a victim' here, then whinging on about how hard this has been for them:

we have fuck all to learn from them - get real

I know he is a club legend there but I think Graham Alexander has made a bit of a mistake swapping Bradford for PNE, two clubs on opposite trajectories

Yeah, an odd decision at face value but I guess Alexander has never managed at Championship level so that with his history there makes it an offer too good to turn down.

Burnley next for him, what division though,an exciting brand of football, not a criticism of the Canley lad though, good luck to him!
